'Raw til 4' is a great way to slowly transition over to a raw fruitarian lifestyle. It's a diet that takes time, thorough education and practice to master but it is truly very rewarding. I hope to inspire at least one person to change their diet and become vegan as I share my journey online. I have lost 60kg of fat in under 12 months just switching to plant-based foods. I used to puff and break a sweat walking up a flight of 10 stairs but now I can skate and run and skip and jump and climb and do everything I did when I was a kid for hours on end, with the same energy and wonder I had when I was a kid! I didn't even need to go to the gym. Raw fruitarian vegan is just the next step in my journey. I am intending on starting a blog/website and also a Youtube channel to inspire and help others with their vegan journeys, I will also be making plenty of 'Aussie Vanlife' videos for anybody interested enough to watch. Veganism is changing lives every day and I am so thankful to have come across documentaries like Forks over Knives, Cowspiracy, Earthlings, What the Health, Lucent, Dairy is Scary, Watch1000Eyes, Blackfish and more recently Land of Hope and Glory that have truly opened my mind to newer, healthier, more thoughtful and compassionate ways of living. After I watched Cowspiracy I saw Gary Yourofski's 'Greatest Speech Ever' and that sparked the start of my journey, then came across others like the infamous @earthlinged, @jamesaspey, @joey_carbstrong, @micthevegan, @rawalignment, @fruitarian and Sweet Natural Living who have all guided me on my vegan journey and got me interested in healthy living, social activism, being actively involved with local Sydney-based farm-animal liberation organisation 'Anonymous for the Voiceless' and inspired me to start planning for a healthy, freeing future. I cannot thank @minimalistbaker  enough for providing ENDLESS delicious vegan recipes and my beautiful girlfriend @happi.chan for teaching me how to cook. Thank you to all who have inspired me along the way, I hope that one day I will be able to inspire others through my actions and just being the best version of myself I can be.. Hope you're all having a great day ❤

There is a BIG difference between a simple sugar and a complex sugar. Every cell in the body requires sugar! Sugar = carbon. That is why we call foods high in sugar, carbo-hy-drates (carbon chained constituents). Carbon is essential, more-so than fats and proteins (amino acids). They are essential to create ATP. That is cell ENERGY (charging the battery of the cell). Your body is made of carbon cells that feed and eliminate, just as every living thing on the planet does. Each cell must have (1) sufficient oxygen and fructose/glucose to convert the simple sugar into adenosine triphosphate (ATP) (pure ENERGY for the life processes of the cell) through aerobic oxidation, and (2) a delicately balanced distribution of sodium and potassium in and around the cells must be maintained at all times. Fruits are higher in antioxidants and astringents and will move your lymphatic system far better than vegetables. This is why one sees a lymphatic response when fruit is consumed. That is what you want. Fruits, also being a simple sugar, are superior for diabetics, pancreatitis, hepatitis, and all other gastric and intestinal conditions. Fructose does not require insulin or extensive digestive enzymes. It needs no conversion. Fructose is not broken down into glucose; it absorbs directly into the bloodstream ready to be used. It enters the cell by diffusion. Fruits' magnetic (electrical) ENERGY is the highest of all foods, making them superior brain and nerve foods. They will bring ENERGY to the body, where most other foods take it away. Our body is not meant for complex sugars (starches), complex carbohydrates, processed foods full of chemicals, toxins, refined and processed sugars (like corn syrup, which in no way resembles a simple sugar). It has been so processed and concentrated it is poison and unrecognizable to the body. Simplicity in digestion and absorption is key! Simple sugar such as fructose found in fruits, berries, melons, greens and vegetables are what the body requires if it is to thrive.

I tried their Golden Gaytime Bowl this time and after one mouthful decided it is by far the best smoothie bowl I have ever tasted! Sweet and delicious!! Topped with their tasty raw Snicker slice made in-house this hidden gem is too good to keep a secret. Support a great local vegan business, medium bowls are $10, large is $12 and raw handmade treats start at $3.50. Overall I think their Pink Pitaya Bowl is my everyday favourite..
