I don’t use forgive blend often but today I felt the need to help with angry emotions that I had towards someone. I didn’t want to dwell on the situation all day so I wanted to “forgive him” and move on.
I was walking on a trail with my kids in the stroller and there was a dog up ahead that was off his leash and no one around. He seen me and started walking towards me so I turned around and went the other way. I warned another lady with a stroller about the dog and we ended up walking past the dog together as the owner finally appeared from no where and put a leash on him. I said that the dog needs to stay on a leash and the guy said “no the dog is fine” and I said “no actually there are leash laws and he needs to stay on a leash” and he said “your children should be on a leash, they are uglier!” OMG! REALLY?? Hopefully none of you encountered any angry people today but if you did, feel free to vent! 😉 or use some forgive oil 😆

If you have kids you know that sometimes they need a little help calming themselves. I posted a video earlier that talks about essential oils to use at bedtime to help kids sleep through the night but this roller bottle blend can be used through out the day to help kids stay calm and relaxed. It can also be used as part of the bedtime routine by rolling on their spine and the bottom of their feet. Get them involved and have them put the oils on their feet themselves. The more you get your kids involved and loving the oils the more likely they will use them regularly. The key to essential oils is to use small amounts frequently so keep this roller out on your counter and swipe your kids with it through out the day 😉

These 2 oils have become part of my daily ritual for a while. I find so much relief from stressful thoughts and feeling when I use these 2 oils. If anyone else has young twins or multiple young children these are a must in your life too! .
Serenity: Use before bedtime to induce a restful sleep. Apply to the neck and lymph side to reduce feelings of anxiousness, tension or stress. Mix with coconut oil for a baby's sore bum! Add 2 - 3 drops to a warm bath with epson salts to create a peaceful, renewing aroma. .
Balance: Creates a sense of well-being when feeling confused, doubtful or unsettled. Begin your day by putting balance on the bottom of your feet to lessen stress throughout the day. Use for children to calm and balance mood. For anxious feelings, apply balance on the back of the neck, over the heart and on the wrists. Promotes circulation. And as an added bonus, both oils can be used at bedtime if you find yourself laying in bed with wandering / worrying thoughts. Apply balance on your feet and serenity on your neck and spine (also in your diffuser) to help promote a restful sleep.
If you have not used essential oils for mood management but would like to learn more about them comment below or send me a message!

The kitchen is the place in the home that we want to keep the cleanest. After all, this is where food is prepared and eaten. Did you know that scrubbing down countertops and washing glasses with a dish sponge may be spreading millions of bacteria per square inch, some safe but some are harmful. To ensure the health and safety of your family, sponges should be washed at temperatures above 180 degrees F and disinfected regularly.
Cleaning Sponges with warm soap water will get rid of surface dirt and some bacteria, but there are still many germs lurking behind, just waiting to multiply again. It's also really hard to rinse soap completely out of a sponge. There are some essential oils that have excellent antibacterial properties that can be used to destroy a variety of bacteria and keep sponges clean and disinfected.
Raise your hand 🤚 to get my recipe to disinfect your sponges with essential oils
If you don’t use essential oils yet and would like to learn more about how they can be used for cleaning and natural healing send me a message! I have an amazing starter kit promo this month that would be perfect for you!
There is a lot of mis information floating around about cats and essential oils. I know that many people are scared to diffuse their oils if they have cats. I want to let everyone know that I have done extensive research on this especially since I have an 11 week old kitten at home and I feel 100% confident in diffusing essential oils around my kitten. I would never want to harm my pet and if I felt like there was any risk I would not take it. That being said, quality of essential oils is key and I want to share an article with you that is written by a vet who specializes in aromatherapy for pets. This is a lengthy, science based article that should alleviate your questions and concerns. If you would like a link to the article please comment below and I will send you a message with the link.
Every night around 1 am my kitten literally starts attacking me! He will grab my arm with his claws and act like he just caught his prey. Maybe he is hungry?! I decided it was time to come up with a skin spray for all my nighttime kitten inflicted wounds.
When your innocent kitten thinks you are his prey you might need to try this skin spray recipe :) This also works for any other skin wounds that need some extra support!
2 oz aloe vera juice
10 drops Frankincense
10 drops Helichrysum
5 drops Melaleuca
10 drops Lavender
Add to a 4 oz spray bottle and shake before using. Spray on the scratches or where you need skin support. ** don’t use this on your kitten since it has melaleuca 😉

Respiratory illnesses are common this time of year. They are highly contagious, and a person can become infected by touching a surface such as a doorknob, stair railing, or bathroom faucet. If the virus gets on the hands and the person then touches their mouth or nose, the virus nestles into the mucosal lining there. Breathing in air near someone who is coughing or sneezing while they are sick with a respiratory illness is another surefire way of getting the virus into the system. There are many different viruses that cause respiratory illnesses. Unless the body has fought the exact virus before, it won't have the right antibodies ready to fight it when it enters the body. The immune system begins an attack against the new virus, and the dreaded symptoms set in. There is no shortage of over the counter medications, and they are available for every possible symptom. Take a walk down the pharmacy aisle to see antihistamines, decongestants, nasal sprays, cough suppressants, and throat lozenges.
Essential Oils have been used as natural solutions for respiratory concerns. A blend of wild orange, clove, cinnamon, eucalyptus, and rosemary oils was shown to inhibit viral proliferation of serious respiratory illnesses in a laboratory setting. Eucalyptus and pine oils can promote easier breathing and support a sore throat.
Thyme, frankincense, tea tree, and rosemary help with respiratory concerns as well. Fennel, lemon, clove and lavender essential oils are others commonly used in various combinations to reduce the symptoms and shorten the duration of respiratory illnesses.
I will be posting some recipes and tips you can try for when you are feeling under the weather. Which essential oils have you used for your respiratory concerns?
Oils and Pet Safety. Please tag a friend with pets. There is a viral post going around about Ernie the cat and I wanted to post about this because there are too many people who are unfamiliar that not all essential oils are created equal....Essential oils does not = Doterra... 1. Please stop buying oils off the internet (Amazon, e-bay, online health food stores, unknown seller) and then wondering why bad things are happening to you and your pets. STOP! A majority of the "essential oils" on the market are synthetic, man-made and can be toxic to humans and pets. They are not Doterra Essential Oils. They are not Therapeutic Grade GRAS (ingestible) essential oils. They are all trying to jump on the success bandwagon that doterra is having with their oils so everyone and their brother is slapping some essential oils fragrance in a bottle, or candle or bottle of shampoo and calling it Essential Oils. It’s marketing and they are using it to their advantage to sell you something because of a hype when it’s not the real thing.
How to stop being fooled into a false product?
1. Contact me or any of my team members and we will help you set up your own doTERRA account so you can buy your own authentic essential oils.
2. Your account will allow you to order directly from dōTERRA warehouse. There are no authorized third party sellers on the Internet (yes that means the doTERRA oils you might be buying on Amazon might not actually be doTERRA oils, even though it is in the same bottle. These oils have been known to be switched out. If it didn’t come direct from dōTERRA warehouse then never trust it.
3. When you order through me or my team you will have unlimited 24/7 education and support with your oils. This is valuable because you want to make sure you know how to use your oils safely and effectively on you and your pets.
Please take the time to educate yourselves on the difference in oils. One makes people better (dōTERRA) and the other makes people and pets SICK!
The recipe posted is safe for your pets BUT only when you use doTERRA! Essential oils can be so helpful for pet concerns that don’t require vet intervention. But choose quality oils to prevent illness.
I broke my ankle about 10 years ago and once it healed I have not had any problems until 2 nights ago. I woke up and the area that it was previously broken was extremely painful. I had been exercising earlier that day so I may have hurt the area. It hurt to walk and go up and down the stairs so I was getting concerned. I decided to try some oils that are known for painful bone and joints. First I applied the deep blue and allowed it to sink in for about 10 min. Then I added a drop of cypress and allowed it to absorb in my skin for another 10 min. Lastly, I applied 1 drop of Marjoram and again allowed it to absorb into my skin. Within 30 min I felt no pain at all. And it has not returned since!
Have you tried essential oils for pain support? Which ones have you found helpful?
Anyone like banana bread? How about vegan chocolate and orange banana bread?! I have a great recipe using wild orange essential oil and it is to die for! If you would like this recipe tag a friend to this post and I will send you a message with the recipe!
Indigestion is a term used to describe a feeling of fullness during a meal or an uncomfortable fullness after eating. It is often associated with pain, bloating, and burning in the stomach area. Eating too much, eating too quickly, eating certain types of food, or taking some medications to cause it. Smoking and anxiety also play a role. Sometimes indigestion happens without any apparent reason. What causes indigestion in one person may not cause it in another. Each person needs to learn their triggers and avoid them. Even taking those measures is not enough sometimes, and medications are prescribed to find relief. Antacids, antibiotics, and anti-stressors can alleviate the symptoms but can also produce nausea, constipation, diarrhea, headache, abdominal pain, dizziness, weight gain, and other digestive troubles.
Ginger oil has been used as an effective and natural treatment for indigestion for many years and across many cultures. It improves occasional stomach discomfort. Many other oils can be used to improve digestion. Clove oil helps to promote relaxation of the digestive tract, and reduces feelings of bloat. Peppermint stimulates digestion and reduces painful feelings in the digestive system and the citrus oils - wild orange and lemon - can help stomach concerns as well. Anise, fennel, coriander, cardamom, and tarragon can also be used. Dilute 3 drops of any of these oils in a carrier oil (fractionated coconut oil) and massage over the abdomen. You can also try digestzen - which contains a combination of many of the oils mentioned above. Apply topically over the abdomen or add a drop to your water and sip.
Roller Bottle (10ml): 20 drops digestzen and 10 drops peppermint - fill with fractionated coconut oil. Apply topically on abdomen as needed. (half the recipe for kids)

Chapped Lips are characterized by dry, cracked lips that can be red and itchy. The skin on the lips is very thin and provides only a small measure of protection to the tissue underneath. It does not contain any sebaceous glands to produce moisturizing oil, and water loss from lips is much higher than anywhere else on the body. Other exacerbating factors include dry environmental conditions, lip licking, sun damage, vitamin deficiencies, medication, and infections. It's easy to see why chapped lips are such a common problem for many.
The first step to achieve smooth, soft lips is to exfoliate with a gentle lip scrub. As well as using a moisturizing oil blend to heal and protect the lips during the cold winter months. If you would like these recipes:

2. I will send you a PM with the recipes.
Don't forget that it is very important to use certified pure essential oils when using them topically. I also have a promo on starter kits this month that would provide you with 100 credits to your account (equal to about $100). Send me a message or comment below if you would like more details.
