"In the last year and a bit have lost nearly 5 stone. I piled on weight during my second pregnancy and felt stuck in a rut, unhappy with the way i looked. I knew i had to do something so i slowly learnt about portion control and what to eat and when. As the weight started coming off i incorporated exercise into my day and have since fallen in love with weight training. I dont eat perfect all the time, i still love cake but lifes about balance πŸ’œ"

"In 2015 I had reached my highest weight of 319.8 pounds. I was diagnosed with diabetes and high blood pressure. My body hurt and I could barely breathe after taking a couple of steps. I have four children to live for and needed to make some major changes. November 5 2015 I made a decision that forever changed my life. I decided to have gastric bypass surgery. Today I am 19 months post op.
have lost over 152 pounds, I no longer have diabetes, and no longer have high blood pressure. Today I am living. I exercise daily I make sure I am eating food that is nutrient rich and benefits my body. I am able to do so much more with my kids. Crazy to think that almost 2 years ago I was deteriorating and killing myself with a fork and a spoon but today I am thriving, I am happy and excited about life & I refuse to ever neglect my body again."

"Started my weightloss journey back in January of this year. I have struggled with losing weight for years and have never been able to stick to something!
I decided I needed to make a change other wise I would be shortening my life expectancy. I was unhappy, miserable and hated my life. I also hated summer because I was so self conscious! But now I cannot wait for summer 😍😍 I have lost 25kg in 8 months, there are no tricks. Just eating healthy and working out! This is a lifestyle. If you wantTo eat cake then bloody eat cake! It's all about balance. Please send me a message if you have any questions I would love to answer them and help in any way I can 😘😘"

"My journey started over 400lbs. I don't know exactly how much because our scale wouldn't register over 400 and I was too ashamed to go anywhere else. It helped me have my turning point. I have since lost over 200lbs and am still working on my spine injury. I just want to show everyone that is where I was that YOU CAN. You just have to believe in yourself. I didn't lose 200lbs 1 time. I lost 1lb 200times. Small victories win the war!"

"It all started quite simple. Back in 2013- I quit fast food & soda. I started losing weight but my diet still wasn't good. In April 2014 I committed to working out just 25 minutes a day. I got one of those fit watches and realized my intense workouts only burned maybe 300 calories.
I started looking more closely at my food intake. I cut out more and more processed foods, especially SUGAR. I increased my PROTEIN intake and consumed more produce. Then I slowly increased my physical activity, adding on hiking and mountain biking regularly. I lost 90+ lbs in a year and then I started weight lifting to shape my body. I continue to fine tune my diet and workouts. Being open to learning more and constantly improving.and learnt all about my addiction to food. This helped me turn my life around, deal with stress in different ways and persuaded me to learn more about nutrition and health. I have lost 7st 9lbs in 18 months. I have improved my health, my happiness and all aspects of my life. It IS possible.Never counted calories or macros but instead focused on micronutrients and satiation. I say I follow a more PALEO- inspired diet, intuitive eating, paired with intermittent fasting. I enjoy one cheat meal per week.I lift weights. Free weights, as heavy as I can with proper form. Also try to enjoy outdoor activities. Drink tons or water & try to improve sleep hygiene. Most importantly I try to stay committed to a healthy LIFESTYLE and positive MINDSET. If I can do it- anyone can! ❀️❀️❀️"

"Throughout my entire childhood and young adulthood, I struggled with obesity. I couldn't remember a time when I was below 280lbs. When I was a senior in high school, in 2009, I peaked at my highest weight of 357lbs. I lived believing the lie that I wasn't made to be healthy, thin, or fit. I believed that I was created to be a bigger person, and I gave up on myself constantly.I had been told by my doctors that if I didn't lose weight that I would soon be diagnosed with diabetes, would have to remain on high blood pressure medication for my entire life, would continue to struggle with asthma, and wouldn't be able to have children. I truly felt like my quality of life was slim to none. I was slowly killing myself and was very quickly losing my entire future. In 2013, I was finally ready to become a healthier person. I didn't want to buy into unhealthy diet fads, eating disorders, anything unnatural. I was ready for real change, that started at the heart. I joined @weightwatchers and ended up losing a little over 100 pounds on their program (-147lbs from my heaviest) Since losing weight, I have ran 5k's, half marathons, 25k's, joined hot yoga classes, attended cross-fit classes, and intense spin classes. Now, I fuel myself with healthy food and exercise instead of junk food, depression, and self loathing. I am even on my way to becoming a yoga instructor! I want to encourage EVERYONE that they are capable of doing great things. At 357lbs, I felt SO hopeless and like such a failure. If this sounds like you, don't you dare give up on yourself! I'm glad I didn't."

"10 months ago, I decided that it was time for me to change. I was overweight, not feeling good about myself, insecure and weak. I started this journey after my vacation in Spain. It made me realize a lot of things.I grew up being the β€˜β€™fat’’ kid and I always wanted to be β€˜β€™thin’’. I have tried to diet and exercise previously but it never seemed to work. I would always say to myself that I will start on Monday and when it came to that date, I would find an excuse to postpone it to the next Monday. Weightloss takes a lot of dedication. It’s more than just a physical change, it’s a mental change. You must change your mind in order to change your body. I am now proud to say that in 10 months, I was able to lose 100lbs.
-
If ever you feel like quitting, ask yourself why you started. You will thank yourself 6 months from now."

"How many people can say their own value is more than just the wage they're paid, or the title they've been told and accepted.
How many people can say they chose to better themselves, their health and their lives, without any other incentive but growthAnd how many can say that they've supported and devoted their own time and efforts, to helping others find joy in their best selves.
Although I know everyone has their own perspective of beauty & health, and each person has their own journey and path through life: I remind you, it is not your place to criticize others, only to focus inward, critiquing your own improvement.find so much joy everyday in my new found (and fought for) life. I've lost over 200lbs, sculpted my body from scratch, nourished not only my body but my mind with knowledge, and prove to myself everyday that I have un-waivering focus and devotion to myself, my future, my career, and my clients!I no longer ask for acceptance or doubt that I'm enough; I'm proud beyond belief of every pound I've lost, inch I've accomplished and muscle I've shaped.
I encourage each and every person- strong enough to dream! Love yourself enough to start, follow through and focus.Focus on your own personal growth & positive outcomes, never heavy hateful words to try and hold you back.
Criticism is the lazy mans "work out" for the day... do sometime constructive! Focus on yourself & support others <3
Make your own success story!"

"I went from 250 to 145lbs . I started my weightloss journey in 2013 . I started my weightloss journey by changing my diet and started working out daily in my house with workout videos and using my wii. I went from 250 to 170 in my house . After I hit 170 I signed up for a gym so that way I could learn how to build muscle."

"I had been obese my whole entire childhood, and in college I weighed 215 lbs, I'm sure I weighed more than that at some point but I never weighed myself. When I was 23 I decided I wanted to change my life, I didn't know exactly what that looked like but I was willing to try anything. I remember laying in bed at night and feeling my rib bones through my stomach that was covered with fat... I wanted to know what it felt like to feel my ribs without layers of fat between. I tried diet after dietAnd would lose 10-15 lbs but then I Medifast, which I did lose about 50 lbs on. It messed with my mind though, it made it hard for me to think I could actually eat REAL food and stay thin so that started me on a mindset that restriction was the only way to stay small. I did end up losing 100 lbs at that point but I was unhealthy and it was primarily due to overexercising and extreme food restriction with bouts of binge eating. Fast forward a few years, I got pregnant and gained 70 lbs duringMy pregnancy... after I had my daughter I was depressed and sad about my weight gain so I decided I would again try and lose weight but I tried a different approach. I worked out doing spin for 4-6 days a week and ate a plant based diet with meat, but sparingly... I added in HIIT classes a few months after that and for the next 6 months I exclusively did HIIT and spin classes while eating a clean diet. After that I started incorporating running and lifting into my routine which drastically
Changed my body and I am the happiest I've ever been about where I'm going. I still eat foods I love, I still eat ice cream... I never thought that those two things could go together. I'm so confident that I'll never yoyo again with my weight because I've found something that works for me that isn't restrictive that many diets. It's given me the freedom to live life without shame about food... not perfectly but very very well."

"Tipping the scales at 110kg/242lb I knew something had to change. My lifestyle was so toxic and I did zero exercise.
Slowly I started to incorporate change - it was so difficult at first but over time the changes became habitual, my fitness increased and now exercise and clean nutrition is something that I am passionate about and don't see as a struggle anymore!"
