This is my "it's been a long two days but I'm still here", selfie. Sometimes, you just have to roll with the punches and acknowledge the fact that no matter what happens, you are alive and life is beautiful. For me the blessings go far beyond this. Be grateful and be humble.

I'll add that this is my first time doing a fat fast. I have done regular fasting previously for between 24-72 hours. I do like this method but I'm ready to try something a little different.

#flashbackfriday and can't believe the journey. So grateful to found Keto. Picture on the left was a little less than two years ago. The right is this morning. About an 80lb difference. 
November 2016, I had gotten to the point where I literally thought there was no hope for me. After failed diet attempts, medications for weightloss, program after program and even over esters anonymous meetings (convinced my problem was mental illness) I was ready to consider the weightloss surgery option. Though I knew the surgery had helped a lot of people, something kept telling me that is wasn't for me. Still, I had everything set with my insurance and my appointments scheduled with the bariatric surgeon. 1 week before I made a move, I prayed....hard. I asked the lord to let me know if there was any other way.... the next day I came across the very first article I had ever read about the Keto diet and the rest was history. All appointments cancelled and here I am... 10 months later and 70lbs lighter. 
For anyone who is struggling and feeling there are no options left, here is something to consider trying! Kick those carbs to the curb my friends...and eat ya FAT.
