I couldn't bring in too many things when setting up my space at @thegeneralstoremarketplace because I need to hang on to lots of stock for @ottawageekmarket. Head to Ashton this week during their soft open to get your first look before things get into full swing in October!
My flower hair clips have been popular, but it's time to retire them to make room for new designs! They'll be available online until the end of September then they're gone from my shop. Whatever I have left after that will be available at my in person events only until my stock is sold out. So if you want some you only have a few weeks left! #byebyeflowers
Latest delivery at @stonewallwildes: lots more earrings including studs! Be sure to check out all the wonderful local artist works and come by next Thursday for the Autumn Meet The Artist Evening. Hope to see you there :)
I'd been creeping @dianawatters_handmade on social media and purchased some of her kits on Canada Day for a girls night of crafting. Because my friends and I are notoriously bad at scheduling it took until last week to get together! All I can say was: it was worth the wait! I might be addicted to these kits now... we had lots of fun and the patterns are adorable!
I've made some changes to my bracelet sizing and you can find all the info on the link at the bottom of my website floatorfly.com
I'm hoping that having XS-XL will make it a bit easier to choose the correct size. Of course custom sizing is always available!
One more week until @runwayforhope! This is going to be such a cool event. Check out all the details on their website runwayforhope.ca

What Are You Wearing Wednesday: this is one of the first bracelets I designed. I thought it was gone forever but found it in a bowl full of my miscellaneous creative attempts. The rings are poor quality and the closures are awful but I love the balance of delicate and complex. Would you like to see this design (or rather, a better quality and skill version of this design)? I'd love to see pics of what jewellery you're rocking this Wednesday! Don't forget to tag me or hashtag #floatorfly
Now THIS is a custom set. Based on my making waves collection, she wanted a bracelet in silver and gold colours. With a matching necklace of a thinner strip. And scale earrings (which I had to custom colour because I couldn't find the right gold - foil paper and mod podge to the rescue!)
