Diz me and my push ups progress so far. Lifting weights and of course my own weight (lol) is one of my weaknesses in my journey, its something I struggle with on the daily, but its also something I am currently working on. This is my first time giving it a go and trying to improve every single week. Its a difficult challenge I've set out for myself, but I'm determined to smash it and eventually be able to do it on my toes. Practising one day at a time 😊 Feel free to give me tips fam. Was gonna opt for KFC while walking home from the train station after work today, then I looked at my reflection through a 7 eleven window and was like ummm nah, better not. lol It's Monday and it sucks being injured but I must carry on being a badass bitch and continue with my keto life. Felt like binge eating all day today 😔 I was also lazy af to make dinner, so was going to order pizza but my bf told me not to and to stick to my diet. 😩😩 Atm, my lower back is playing up so I'll be having trouble with training until its 100% again, that means I will have to be wise with what I fuel my body. Its a little depressing because Im actually improving with my training and all, then this happens. I've had my pity party moment, but I just want to journal this. Really dont want to go back to the old me from 6 weeks ago so gna have to knock out that negative mindset and reset my mind, body and soul for tomorrow. Heres my dinner for tonight, I couldnt be fkd doing shit tbh, so this is scrambled eggs with bacon, spinach & cheddar cheese. (which is basically breakfast but who gives a fuck Im hungry and my mind aint right atm, I wanted pizza😭). Praying for positive vibes tomorrow as I venture in to week 7 of #FosasJourney 😩❤
One Pan Garlic Herb Chicken and Broccoli 😋
One pan meals are LIFE, especially when its full of rich, buttery herb flavours 🙌 This is my dinner and lunch set in easy 20minutes xx

•3 chicken thighs or boneless skinless chicken breasts (I used chicken thigh fillets)
• salt and pepper, to taste
• 1 pound broccoli (you can use asparagus as well) ends trimmed
• 3 tablespoons butter, divided
• 1 tablespoon minced garlic
• 1 & ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
• ½ teaspoon onion powder
• fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions: • Season chicken with salt and pepper on both sides. • Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large pan/skillet over meidum-high heat. • Stir in garlic and herbs and cook another minute or so until the garlic is fragrant. • Reduce heat to medium, add chicken to pan, and cook for 5-7 minutes, then flip and cook another 5-7 minutes. (Chicken should be nearly, but not completely cooked through by this point) • Scoot the chicken over the sides and add remaining 1 tablespoon butter to the empty portion of the pan. Once the butter is melted, add broccoli, (you can also use asparagus as an alternative fam!) • Season broccoli/asparagus with salt and pepper, to taste. • Cook, rotating throughout, for 4-6 minutes until tender and chicken is completely cooked through. • Serve immediately garnished with freshly cracked black pepper and fresh herbs if desired. 😊😊❤ #ketolife#lowcarb#lowcarbhighfat#ketoliving
So it's been like just over a month now since I jumped back on my 'healthy living' lifestyle and I know it doesnt even look like it, but this collage is a 10kg difference between the top and bottom photos. I'm happy with my progress so far because I know the weight doesnt lose itself overnight and I also know its all happening slowly but surely. To be honest with you all, I've been too ashamed to post shit of myself since I started 6 weeks ago coz I wasnt happy with my own image and also wasnt happy with myself for allowing myself to get here, at my heaviest!! However for me, this week is all about progress and so Im going to continue to share my personal journey with you all. ❤ The next progress photo will be when I reach another goal of mine, hopefully in the next few weeks 😊 K back to my foodie posts lol.

Low carb chocolate smoothie.
Tastes better than it looks 😋
Recipe below, simple to make xx
• 1/3 cup Vanilla Protein Powder (Isopure has zero carbs)
• 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
• 1/2 cup almond milk
• 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted sweetener to taste
• 3 cups crushed ice
• 1/2 cup strawberries
• 1/4 cup walnuts
1) Pour the almond milk into a blender carafe. (I used my shake bottle blender tho coz, only blender I have 😭😂) 2) Add the protein powder, cocoa powder, sweetener, and thickener if using.
3) Add the ice on top and blend. With the blender running add the melted coconut oil and continue blending until it almost doubles in volume. Taste and adjust.
4) Pour into a bowl and top with the fruit and nuts.
Serve 😋 Teaching myself how to make healthy meals on a daily so this is all a work in progress and there is always room for improvement. 😊❤
Made the skillet browned chicken with creamy greens again. I even did it without looking at the recipe lmao so I think I can officially call myself a cook/chef lmfao. jk. You aint never gonna be happy with yourself or how far you've come if you are continuously comparing yourself to others/someone you admire,etc, use them as motivation but not as a comparison. Stay focused on your own shit and you'll be amazed at yourself.
