Seeing the โ€˜goal achievedโ€™ notification is SO DAMN SATISFYING! โœจ Today was my first day trying out my new gym. I decided to kick things off with a group fitness class... and true to form I was absolutely the most uncoordinated person in that room ๐Ÿ˜‚ but as with everything in life we all start somewhere ๐Ÿ˜…โœจ๐ŸŽ‰ and most importantly I had the BEST TIME! It was really fun working out with a group, in a gorgeous gym, knowing that Iโ€™m making progress towards hitting my health & fitness goals ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ I donโ€™t always achieve closing all my rings on my watch, but I give it a real good go. Thatโ€™s all you can do, everyday, give it your all and never give up on achieving the goals you set โšก๏ธโšก๏ธโšก๏ธ

For me, itโ€™s definitely FALSE. I like breakfast, but if itโ€™s not a lazy weekend brunch-breakfast, then I definitely donโ€™t love it. Normally on weekdays I actually canโ€™t stomach breakfast until later in the day, around 10am at the earliest. Itโ€™s definitely FALSE that skipping breakfast leads to weight gain. ใ€ฐ๏ธใ€ฐ๏ธ
The reason why you may have heard that skipping breakfast = gaining weight is because some studies have shown that those who skip brekky are most likely to have irregular eating habits and therefore have less regard for their overall nutrition and health.  Therefore theyโ€™re likely to eat more calories across the day.  We all know that itโ€™s all about cals in vs cals out.  Simply put, too many calories = weight gain. โœ”๏ธ ใ€ฐ๏ธใ€ฐ๏ธ
Donโ€™t get me wrong, I do like breakfast, but itโ€™s not scientifically proven that you HAVE to have it right away when you wake up in order to see the results you want. You can exercise flexibility and eat it when it suits you, just be mindful of your goals and lifestyle and make the best choice for you! ใ€ฐ๏ธใ€ฐ๏ธ
This is one of my go-to easy breakfast recipes. Frozen fruit (portioned out), mixed in with a 3-ingredient Rawnola (oats, dried coconut chips & dried dates) and topped with unsweetened almond milk.  ITโ€™S SO GOOD! Customize it with anything else youโ€™re in the mood forโ€ฆ. Fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, chia, cacao powder, GO CRAZY! But not too crazy #balance. ๐Ÿ˜œ ใ€ฐ๏ธใ€ฐ๏ธ

I stepped away from my desk to make this super simple and insanely delicious vegan chocolate chip banana bread as a lil afternoon SCNACK!
