Day 14- Listen was the perfect practice for today. With the anxiety of going back to school tomorrow this was great to let go of my thoughts and listen to my body. I’m definitely turning into a yogi 🧘🏻♀️
Tomorrow I finally head back to school. I made @keto.connect butter chicken recipe and split it into 3 servings for my 3 days of clinical this week. I also did up a bag of green giants cauliflower rice with mixed veggies. Threw and extra slab of butter on top because butter duh. I love quick and easy meal prep.
Just a little #facetofacefriday action since I forgot about yesterday’s throwback. I had even thought my face was skinny on the left compared to pictures prior to that. I feel and look so much less puffy.
Cast iron burgers stuffed with bacon and cheese, topped with mayo, mustard, havarti, grilled onions and pickles. Served with cast iron Brussels sprouts cooked in the burger grease with some Kerry gold and garlic, topped with Parmesan. My house is smokey, the fire alarm went off but at least I’m full and they were delicious.
It’s one of those days where I’m just not hungry but my body says feed me. I threw together a super quick lunch of zoodles. 1 zucchini, some heavy cream, Parmesan cheese and Kerry gold butter to make it nice and fatty.
My local BBQ shop has the best brisket. I tried their smoked turkey tonight too, amazing. Only 1/2 those strawberries were mine and I also split the meat. I also had a salad and not pictured was a serving of cauliflower tots.
Tonight I made pork shoulder chops w/ lemon thyme gravy from The Keto Diet book by Leann Vogel. My gravy could have turned out better but I didn’t have gelatin so I used xantham gum instead. Either way they are packed full of flavor.
I’m all about body positivity and self love so I’m digging @diaryofashrinkingmommy ‘s plan to make #waistwednesday a thing. Nothing is sexier than self love ya’ll 💜 I encourage each of you to embrace your beauty on this journey and join in.
