Every child has a name. Every name has a story. Every one of these stories includes a hurricane, a damaged home, and lack of food. But check out their smiles! Children are captivating because they believe in the innocence and purity of Christ no matter what surrounds. Though they see the darkness, it doesn't change their light. They see the hope. Take time today to pray for Morency. #410bridge#haiti#rememerbemorency
Fritzna is a sponsor child. This is her mama. In September, Fritzna's mother was bed-ridden and so ill that she was sure it was time to say goodbye. After many prayers and healing from God, Fritzna's mother is not only up and walking, but healthy enough to gather coconuts, climb the mountain to walk to the market, and sell the minimal amount of coconuts that are left in Morency. Even in a time of destruction and fear, God is still God! “Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind,”

How beautiful are the feet...the feet that have been playing in standing water for weeks. The feet that are overwhelmed with foot rot and infection. The feet that had to walk bare to the top of a mountain to avoid the flooding. The feet that play on the beach covered in trash. These are the feet that are beautiful. Always remember Morency. Don't forget those little feet.
