The holidays are a tough time to lose weight. I lost a few lbs last month but my weight loss has definitely slowed around these holidays. That's okay. It's not great but it's okay. I am not gaining weight. That was such a common part of the holidays for me. I am still down almost 45 lbs. I also get to celebrate non scale victories like thus one. I haven't worn this shirt in YEARS but I'm rocking it today 🤗
I missed a lot of Monday's.. but not this one! I watched life pass me by. Barely getting from one day to the next, just going through the motions. Then one day I decided that I deserved more. I decided to stop making excuses. I decided to eat better foods and take care of this body. After all it's the only one I get. It's not too late for you to make that same decision. 💜💜💜 P.S It sure helps when you get to wake up and workout with your squad from all over the US. 😉
The holidays are tough! I would frequently gain 10, 15 even 20 lbs between Thanksgiving and the new year. My clothes would become too tight. I was super self conscious. I would have frequent sugar crashes and ended up being tired and moody. Then I would eat more to try and numb my sadness and isolate myself from others. Yuck!! Thanks to my successful health journey, this year is so much better!! I am down over 40 lbs. I am enjoying the holidays with my family and friends. I actually look forward to holiday parties this year and what I'm going to wear! I also am much more confident, happier and feel my best!
