I got my new protein bars from @uniconutrition just in time to put them on top of my protein French toast this morning. I literally was about to sit down and eat when the mailman showed up. This breakfast has half of my protein intake for the day in it. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

3/4 scoop of @uniconutrition chocolate protein powder,
1 egg,
1/3 cup milk,
3 slices of bread
Mix batter, soak bread for 30 seconds on each side, and cook on a buttered skillet for 3-5 mins. 
I topped mine with the new unico brownie protein bar (20 grams of protein) and some syrup (didn't go sugar free today because I'm a rebel). Enjoy! ๐Ÿ’•

Making progress while staying at the same weight can seem like a difficult goal. I have dedicated the last 10 months to maintaining my weight, increasing the weight that I lift, and losing body fat. Has it been easy? No! But it has been possible. Deciding to maintain my weight and experiment with intuitive eating has changed my outlook on fitness. It is completely attainable to reach your goals while staying at the same weight and eating the foods that you love. My diet has been far from perfect this summer but when I look back to when I had a strict "diet" I'm not happy with what I see. Our bodies need carbs and fats for energy. I used to be all about that low carb life but not anymore. I was not my ideal self when I was limiting carbs and I am way closer to my current goals now that I am eating more carbohydrates. Tonight's workout kicked my butt! Arms, abs, and some HIIT made it a 2.5 hour workout for me. I haven't worked out that long in months. Is it necessary to workout for 2.5 hours? Well, no. Peanut butter chocolate protein cookies ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป
I was craving something sweet today so I decided to make these amazing cookies. One recipe makes two medium sized cookies. 
Mix dry ingredients: 1scoop chocolate @uniconutrition protein powder
1Tbs cocoa
3Tbs coconut flour
Add in wet ingredients:
2 Tbs melted but butter 
1 Tbs honey
3 Tbs milk of choice
Bake for 8 mins at 350 degrees and top with melted peanut butter.

Tonight I was feeling a little under the weather with some stomach issues but I ended up going to the gym anyways and had an amazing workout. Tonight back workout was: 5x5 pull ups (assisted with a light band), 4x10-12 wide grip lat pull downs superset with 4x8-10 reverse grip narrow lat pull downs, 3x10 back extensions with 25 pound plate rows superset with 3x10 bent over rows, 3x10 face pulls, 3x10 each arm resistance band single arm lat pull down, and 2x10 straight leg dead lift. .

Starting my morning with a few dairy free, egg free, gluten free brownies with peanut butter cookie dough frosting. ๐Ÿ˜ These four ingredient brownies are absolutely amazing! All it is is two ripe bananas, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, 1 scoop of @uniconutrition chocolate protein, and 1 cup melted peanut butter. Blend all ingredients and bake for 10 mins at 350 degrees. For the frosting combine 1/2 cup apple sauce, 1/2 cup vanilla protein, 1 tbs coconut flour, 1 tsp cinnamon, 2 packets of stevia, and 2 tbs peanut butter. Add 1/4 cup almond milk to the cookie dough to make it spread easily. Spread and freeze! It was so easy and it tastes amazing!! .

Friday breakfasts call for something a little special. This morning I was really craving a cinnamon roll so I thought I might as well make a cinnamon roll mug cake instead! This is soooo good y'all! I am really debating making a second one! .
Cake: 1 scoop @uniconutrition vanilla protein
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 tbs Applesauce
1/2 tsp baking powder
1tsp cinnamon
1Tbs melted coconut oil
2-3 Tbs water
1 packet of stevia
Mix together ingredients in a bowl then pour into a greased coffee cup and microwave for 1min!

Glaze: 1/2 tbs coconut oil melted
1-2 packets of stevia 
1 tsp cinnamon

Frosting:
1 oz room temp low fat cream cheese
1/2 tbs melted coconut oil 
2 tbs powdered sugar (I wanted real frosting) 1 packet stevia +2 tbs vanilla protein would work for a healthier frosting. .

I train chest once a week just like I do every other muscle group. Chest might be one of my least favorite muscle groups to train but I still make an effort to push myself. Here is part of my chest workout from my last chest day. I like to do a light chest workout one week and the next week go as heavy as I can with each exercise. This week I started with a warmup of 4x15 db press with ball, 4x8 bosu ball push-ups, and 4x20 resistance band flies (not filmed). Then I moved into 3x10-12 incline bench press with the smith machine, 5x5 bench press( not filmed), 4x12-15 pec flies with machine (not filmed), 3x12-15 decline db bench press, 3x10 db bench press, and finished with 3x8-10 db pullover. .

Happy Humpday Friends! A lot of people ask me what I eat in the day when I'm tracking my food. Today was my first day back on track with a specific "diet" so I thought it would be a great day to share everything that I ate today. Today I kept it low carb since I had a really high carb day yesterday. I usually eat around 150grams of carbs in a day when I'm tracking. There is still a chance that I might go eat a slice of garlic bread later tonight. ๐Ÿ˜‚ It's calling my name! .

Food Diary: Meal 1: 2 eggs scrambled, 1 slice of turkey bacon, 1 packet of Oats, 2 tbs peanut butter, 1/2 banana, raspberries, blueberries, and 1 tbs chia seeds. Meal 2: 3.5 ounces chicken breast, 2.7 ounces of sweet potatoes, and 2.5 ounces of zucchini. Meal 3: rice cake with 1 tbs peanut butter, 1 laughing cow cheese, and 8 wheat thins. Meal 4: post workout shake (2 scoop Uniconutrition chocolate protein and 8 ounces 2% milk). Meal 5: large salad with low fat Olive Garden dressing, 3 ounces chicken breast, carrots, and 1 tbs shredded cheese. Meal 6: carrots, cucumbers, and hummus. .

Tonight I was totally pumped for the gym. I was so ready to have a kick ass leg day but it didn't go as planned. Tonight's workout was rough. I wasn't able to make it to the gym at my usual time and by the time I got there I had zero motivation. I ended up getting a decent workout in in the end but it still wasn't the amazing leg day that I had planned. Moral of the story is we don't always get the amazing workout in that we may have planned but that's okay. You will have many more amazing workouts along with many more not so great workouts. It's all apart of this lifestyle. .

Tonight I was totally pumped for the gym. I was so ready to have a kick ass leg day but it didn't go as planned. Tonight's workout was rough. I wasn't able to make it to the gym at my usual time and by the time I got there I had zero motivation. I ended up getting a decent workout in in the end but it still wasn't the amazing leg day that I had planned. I've been spending most of my Monday in the kitchen. Homemade pancakes for breakfast and for lunch I made Cajun chicken gnocchi. I prepared one package of mini gnocchi. While that cooked I sautรฉed 1/2 of a red pepper, 1/2 of an onion, and 3 chicken breasts. Then I boiled 1/2 cup of heavy cream, 2tsp Cajun seasoning, 1/2 tsp basil, 1tsp garlic powder, 2tbs butter, and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese until it thickened. Mixed everything together and added some basil and a sprinkle of some shredded Gouda. It's so amazing! ๐Ÿ˜ .
