Don't waste your life living it for other people or in a self destructive mode of being. Too many industries (and people in them) don't really care about the wellbeing of the people they work with. Don't spend time or work with people who are bad for your health mentally or physically. Look after your body, no one else can do it for you. It's not always easy to realise how destructive what you're doing might be, to get perspective imagine how you would treat yourself if you were a child, another child or your own child. Or what you'd say to yourself at 90. It's always better to do something alone than to be surrounded by people who don't know how to value their own life and consequently yours. Your life and your time is always too valuable to do anything less with.
It would've been my mom's 60th birthday today. She was the most loving and kind person I've ever met, she never accepted bad behaviour from anyone but showed you what was right and wrong through example, by being kind and patient. Her life taught me the real value of things, what is important and the things that aren't. She brought out the best in everyone she met and still does. I am grateful to have known her for the time I did and I wish more people could have met her. I hope everyone gets to meet someone like this at least once in their lifetime.
✨// "Sometimes the only difference between hope and despair is a good night's sleep." Sleep is one of the most important requirements for a happy, healthy balanced life. If you don't get enough of it, it can really effect your life adversely. I can barely function without it, I get moody and I notice my whole personality changes. Remember as well that others have different energy levels and what might be enough for one person might not enough for you. Get a routine down, stick to it and pay attention to things that disturb your sleep minimise these as much as possible. If for whatever reason you can't sleep don't force it or get worked up, get back up have a drink of something, read for a few minutes and then try again. If you're not feeling great for an unknown reason look to sleep first. Get a solid weak of undisturbed sleep at night, eat well and then tackle whatever it is you need to. If you're having trouble getting your mind to shut down imagine a place, construct this whole place in your mind somewhere relaxing like a lake.
