Five dollars. That’s what this tent cost me.
I bought it one of my first weekends in Missoula. My new roommates and I were headed to weir hot springs and I bought this tent on the way outta town and used it that very night.
And the rest is, well, history.
So here’s to the public places where I could camp in this five dollar tent. And here’s to cheap gear because new is nice, but sometimes used is better. (And in that 8th photo theres two tiny dots on the bottom right hand corner....that’d be my friend and I’s tents, camping in the ruby mountains to backcountry snowboard the next day 🤙🏼)
Tuesday evening sunset at Medicine Rocks.
It was nice to be on the range again, if only for a night.
And a good way to spend the last evening in Montana for a while. Had the whole place to ourselves.
