This is the only thing I like about this time of year .. cosy dinners 😬 this is my sausage and vegetable casserole, made enough for the five hundred so I have lots to make Beau’s dinners with and Sam has a hearty lunch for tomorrow 🤣 - fry sausages, mushrooms and onions, boil carrots in beef stock, then add all that into a casserole dish. Next add tinned tomatoes, red kidney beans, mustard, garlic, Worcester sauce and a little blob of ketchup, then cook it at 180 for 50mins or so, at the end stir in some corn starch to thicken before popping it back in the oven for 10 mins.
Another yummy morning and @slimmingworld find! French toast with Nutella and strawberries- dip wholemeal bread in vanilla egg and stevia and then fry in fry light. I don’t follow slimming world but they do have a lot of very yummy meal ideas! Off out today to get baby’s Christmas presents 🎁🎄👶🏼💙
Dinner- I was looking forward to this all day long 💪🏼 take sliced cod, dip in flour, egg then bread crumbs and bake in the oven at 190 for 30mins, then take cooked peas, chicken stock, garlic and onion salt and slightly blend, then shove it all in a roll and with tartare sauce, lettuce and onion 😬 thank me later 🙋🏼
Today’s action plan- survive Tuesday at work and then get Home to my squidy face! 👶🏼 Healthy fishfingers sandwiches for dinner tonight- yes it is possible 😂 and then I’m allowing 45minutes for a work out, doesn’t seem like a lot but it all adds up! HAPPY TUESDAY 💙
This is SO true, I’ve been slacking in this department lately and due to a busy schedule I’ve just been trying to make sure that my diet is on track, but as of tomorrow I’m getting back on that grind. - watch this space 💪🏼
Quick dinner tonight- fry prawns, mushrooms and shredded Brussels with lemon and lime, garlic, chilli and ginger in rapeseed oil. Serve with avacado, pomegranate and onion salad and top with some chillis 😬💪🏼
Have to do an ab check every once in a while and they’re still there! I’m still amazed at how much this belly stretched, and I did not in any way shape or form ‘ping back’. I’ve worked hard to get here but my main priority was to be healthy regardless to what my body looks like. I’m very aware of how easy it is to focus on the negatives about yourself, there are many parts of my body I’m really not happy with that come with having a baby and my body being stretched to its limits. But I’m working with what I’ve got. I’ll never have perk boobs again (or any boobs for that matter) I’ll always have stretch marks and I’ll probably always be bottom heavy with cellulite, but I’ve done what I can and I will continue to do so. I made this Instagram to help people make healthy choices and for motivation to myself and others. I want to promote balance and rationality towards food and life. I eat healthy 90% of the time but I can tell you that everyday I will have some form of treat. It’s all about balance, eat healthy but if you fancy something then go for it and make sure you enjoy it, exercise when you can doing something you enjoy and eventually your body will be how it’s meant to be. We come in all shapes and sizes and although I’m proud of my abs, I can tell you now that I still wouldn’t feel confident in a bikini because I’m human and we all have our floors. Love you, love your body, choose to look after it and the rest will follow 🌸
Anyone else’s Sunday looking like this? Not my normal healthy post but I’m making this a cheat weekend and that obviously includes tea and biscuits! Packing them in while bubby’s sleeping 🙈 and afternoon of tea, pottering around, crocheting and I’m not gonna lie.. a Christmas film or too 🙈 too early?
