Comfort food at its finest- sausage casserole, mash and cabbage 🍂🍂🍂 - fry sausages and onions then add to a casserole dish, add mushrooms 300ml water with beef stock cube, 2tbsp tomato purée, tbsp Worcester sauce, 2 garlic cloves and a tbsp dried mixed herbs 🍂🍂🍂
An extremely unhealthy day calls for a healthy dinner. Chilli con carne- so easy to make in advance and I always make a big batch so I have one in the freezer when I'm working. - ingredients- @quorn_uk mince, chopped tomatoes, water, onions, mushrooms, bell pepper, red kidney beans, garlic, chilli, paprika, cumin, coriander and an oxo cube. - method- fry garlic, then chopped onion, add mince, add mushrooms and peppers then the kidney beans, pour in tomatoes and water and bring to a simmer, then add all the other ingredients DONE. Once it's cooked, if I need it in the evening I put it in a @pyrexhome dish and then in to the oven at 180 for 40 minutes. Now to put this baby to bed and have a nice @lush bath 🛀😍
Feeling autumnal 🍂- Chilli Butternut squash and Swede Soup, pre made on my day off and frozen, ready for a quick easy dinner - butternut squash, chilli, ginger, vegetable stock and swede, simmered until cooked and then blended!
I can honestly say I am on 🔥Not sure what to call this.. maybe a coconut, fire, noodle soup?! Basically I grabbed all of these ingrediets and bunged them into a saucepan and this is what happened 🤷🏼♀️ - Mushrooms, red pepper, carrot, red onion, spring onion, cooked shredded chicken, rice noodles, coconut milk, vegetable stock, chilli, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, lemon, honey and some paprika. I'll definitely have this again.. but maybe a bit less chilli 🌶
Same fruit different day- @arlaskyr yogurt, chia seeds, figs and a good helping of warm PB. Coconut curry is prepped for dinner tonight, washing and cleaning done, now just waiting for bubby to wake from his slumber ✌🏻
Brunch- Juicy AF figs, with @arlaskyr yogurt mixed with chia seeds and honey. Coconut oil in my hair, fresh from a shower, bubby is sleeping and I'm waiting for my girlie whilst watching Shrek, what could be better 🙌🏼
Dinner- Brie, bacon and cranberry sauce in a tiger roll 😊 No, it's not exactly healthy, but portion control is a big focus point when trying to lose or maintain weight loss. Before I probably would have have two of these with a mountain of chips!
So this just happened-- red pepper and tomato spaghetti with meatballs 😋 For the sauce- red peppers, tinned tomatoes, onions, garlic, chilli, oregano, basil, Worcestershire sauce beef stick cube, mushrooms, peas. For meatballs- lean mince, chilli, Garlic. So good 😊
Just what I needed after work today 😋 @heckfooduk sausages, mash, cabbage, onions and gravy - so tasty and although it doesn't look like a healthy meal, I've served it in a shallow smallish bowl to help with portion control, the gravy is reduced salt, the sausages are gluten free and the mashed potato is sweet potato 👍🏼 little changes all add up and make a difference in the end!
Today's the day!!! I am back to my pre pregnancy weight! It's taken nearly 7 months BUT I've done it and I'm so proud of myself! I put on 46lbs and I wore this dress as a rather snug top, but im back 😆
Too. Much. Food. Today was my last day of maternity leave, heart feels broken that I'm going to have to leave my best friend and in all honesty, im not sure how I'm going to do it. How do working mums run a house, look after babies AND go to work? Superhero powers I'm assuming. Been doing mad dashes round the house to get done what cleaning I can at the same time as trying to savour this day with my baby. Our clothes are ready, bags are packed - oh and I cooked this huge roast 👋🏼 I weighed myself for the first time in ages and I'm down another couple of lbs, I think what's been helping is I've been exercising and lifting much more and I've been cutting down my portion sizes. 💪🏼 Obv this roast doesn't count! Not going to lie, I went to sort lunch out for tomorrow and I just CANNOT bring myself to worry about what I want for dinner tomorrow, let alone lunch aswell. So I'll be having @proteinworld shakes for my breakfast and lunch and then I've packed staaaaaacks of fruit for snacking ✌🏻it's going to be weird sitting down in one place for 7 whole hours tomorrow, but I'm just going to take it one day at a time. If anyone knows of any self help books on anxiety and positive thinking that they would recommend then please hit me up 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼Wish me luck!
Fruit Platter from @pinterestofficiall is what I'm cravings this afternoon! If somone could bring this to me NOW I would be forever grateful 😋 Anxiety's stealing my sleep right now and nightly panic attacks which have been including my hands and arms going numb is draining me, need some of this good good to nourish my poor body!
My biggest focus at the minute is eliminating my cellulite. My legs are awful and I've read that it's toxins in your body and that water can improve it. Drinking water is something I'm not great at and unless it's coffee, I could probably go a whole day before I remembered to drink something! So I use this @josephjosephofficial bottle to keep track of how much I'm drinking, every time you drink a bottle, you twist the top and a dot will appear, such a good idea! 💦
