It took the ignorance of a 15 year old minutes to destroy what nature took millennia to create. As sad as it is to see that happen we now get to witness the glory of nature mending the scar left by humanity's destructive carelessness. Though it will not happen in our lifetime, this place will again regain it's awe inspiring beauty.
A fire moon rising over the high plains of Wyoming. We didn't escape the smoke of fires burning on the west coast till we hit Nebraska, so I was saddened to learn of yet another fire burning in Oregon when I got home yesterday. And all because some dumbass pile of human garbage clearly uneducated about fire responsibility thought lighting off fireworks in a forest was a brilliant idea, especially since it's not like the rest of the state wasn't already on fire.
Huge thanks again to mis hermanos and road dogs @larryandhisflask for letting me satisfy a need for the open road. I got to hop in vandolf the white again, snap some pics, laugh some laughs, and meet all the folks that make up this wacky place we call America. Prost🍻
