Good day everyone! Today starts my seventh week in my #ketojourney . I started at 208 lbs on 11Sept, my heaviest was 215 lbs sometime in August. This is my lowest weight in more than three years! I actually still can't believe myself! 😊
Last week, I started doing some core and leg workouts on my own. Hopefully this week me and my wife go back to the gym. She's also doing good herself in her keto journey too!

We usually have church meetings on Saturday nights and the kids would just go crazy if we don't go to Starbucks before going home. Well, me and my wife were crazy about frappes eversince. This is a non-keto post. My wife and I started baking after I started #ketodiet . We are slowly learning the trade I guess. We had less success on the keto buns though but we are slowly learning... Hopefully next time we will make it better. So this is kind of an #NSV for us, yeah!

It's been 31 days since I started this #ketojourney . I was 208lbs then. Been using size 36 jeans and sometimes use that size 38 just to make myself comfortable. My BP for the longest time was really high. I am glad I made this change. 15lbs gone forever... by just eating, no exercise, just eating "that-nasty-fatty-food" they say. Now I am wearing this size 34 jeans that was just hanging around for two useless years, unused. My lipid markers are down to normal levels, and my BP too! And I am learning to bake as well! This is awesome!
I started doing planks and sit-ups already. Going back to boxing maybe in a few days. Can't wait what lies ahead. I am getting there. There is hope! Thanking my #ketofamily for inspiring me. You guys are the best!
I am not really a fan of chicharon. I could only take about three or four each day eversince. But I know which one taste good though. Pictured is a pack of dehydrated chicharon from Cavite, PH. They say it's better because the dehydration process took off much of the fats. I still prefer the traditional chicharon from Cebu or Bulacan though. This one tastes off and it feels dry in the mouth too. But I had to take what's in the cupboard right?
Blood test results last Saturday was generally fine. Choles down, Triglycerides/BUN, Creatinine down to mid-levels, SGPT/SGOT are both normal. I just didn't notice that my HDL was low since my pre-keto blood test. It was 1.06 last 08 Sept and down to 0.91 last Saturday. Low limit is at 0.90. Yes, I am worried. Result shows that I am at moderate risk of having Coranary Heart Desease (CHD). My Cardiologist told me to take Fish Oil on a daily basis to improve my HDL and asked me to see him tomorrow to discuss this HDL thing. There is hope. I just need to keep in touch with this reality. I had multiple TIAs before and kept moving still. I don't want that CHD to take control over me.
