A trip to @minthobo lead me to trying something completely different to my average visit to a coffee shop. After talking to the extremely helpful and kind staff I was convinced to try this beverage I’ve never even heard of until now, Cascara. Found somewhere between coffee and tea, although it comes from the coffee plant, the drink doesn’t taste anything like coffee. Cascara is often described as having a sweet, fruity taste with notes of rose hip, hibiscus, cherry, red current, mango or even tobacco. Likewise, the tea does not have the same caffeine content as coffee and is difficult too grade for a caffein content. For me, I picked up the fruity taste primarily and after reading up on this unique beverage, I can kind of relate to the taste of a pleasant sweetness of tobacco.
If you ever get the chance too be blessed with the presence of this coffee shop on your visit to Yarm, you won’t regret. Also building their selections of alcohol, they have 7 different choices of Gin too. They have your afternoon covered. Through the day you’ll be offered an array of coffee selections customisable with different blends of coffee, and the staff go the extra mile to make sure you’re seated with a beverage to satisfy your ever so particular pallet, and if you’re dissatisfied with your cup of craftsmanship you’ll be getting a replacement to make sure all your requirements are hit. Thats service so don’t complain!
Can you fault this establishment? Nope.

This cold brew coffees taste? Chocolate and some spice, and the coffees tend to linger a bit in the mouth, however it leaves you feeling politely refreshed. Definitely give it a go.
