Getting a few new dots in every day but it’s such a slow progress for this piece - guessing it’ll be ready for spring 🌸 (Anyone else loves gnocchi?! Feel like this t-shirt and I were a match made in heaven)
When was the last time you did something that’s not you?
Sometimes you gotta step out of your comfort zone. Try something new. That’s what these two pieces represent for me. They’re imperfect. They took less than half an hour to draw. You never grow unless you try something new. You might fail and but then you’ve learned something.
You can choose to be sad that you failed or you can choose to be proud that you at least tried.
So many emotions over two tiny drawings, I know. You get the picture... It’s a little lesson in life and a daily reminder to myself so I keep them by my desk where I can see them.
Finally getting to draw a bit again! It’s crazy how much I’ve actually missed it. Life is really all about finding the right balance and my hand was definitely telling me to put my focus into my other work as well and also to relax a bit more. I have a tendency to put myself in a little work bubble when my personal life isn’t going as planned. We can only learn from our mistakes and try to balance things out.
It’s been a tough month on so many levels, but this slow progress with my hand makes me sooooo happy! ❤️ Then everything else will be alright.
One of my closest friends (Maja from @surisuri.dk) just arrived in Paris this morning with more treats for me! 💕
We've been at a k-beauty fair all day and we're getting so many amazing samples, so I feel like it's my birthday or Christmas 👌🏼😍
