2017 has been a year of a lot of personal development and self acceptance. I am my own worst critic and at times it can be mentally (sometimes physically) exhausting. Honestly, I struggled with comparing myself to others and using those people as benchmarks as to why I wasn't pretty enough, fit enough, happy enough, talented enough, stylish enough, social enough, etc. This year I've met so many amazing people (many of which were a result of this IG page) that have changed my outlook on life... put things into a positive perspective. I've learned to take a step back and congratulate myself on what I've accomplished no matter how big or small. I've learned to be thankful and appreciative of ALL the people in my life whether they are close friends & fam or just acquaintances. This world and the people in it can grind you down if you let it. It's okay that your life isn't a like a perfect, VSCO filtered, Instagram post. It's okay to have hurdles and hardships. It's all apart of personal growth! So if you've read this far... CONGRATS!😂 And in my best efforts not to ramble and sound cheesy/preachy... I really love connecting with all of you through this platform💖 It's absolutely amazing actually. I hope all of you had an amazing 2017 and fab 2018! 💋🍾✨
