Today is a very good day to rethink our approach to consumerism! Of course we need some warm clothes to keep us warm out there. But do we really need another jacket, just because it has a pretty color? Is it possible to repair that tear we got during an awesome powderday in the trees? Can we make someone else happy with that old fleece we don’t wear anymore? Sometimes less is more! Don’t let yourself carried away by the cheap prices to buy stuff we don’t really need! Avoid the crowded mall and #optoutside
Thanks for the awesome pic @chrisriefenberg
Happy thanksgiving everybody! Although we don’t really celebrate this event over here I think it’s a great opportunity to reflect on all the good things in our lives and what we are thankful for. I am thankful for the life I am able to live, for the adventures, for the experiences, for all the good people, for a job I am passionate about (most of the time), for being free to do what I want, for being healthy (and all my loved ones too) and so much more. It’s easy to focus on the negative, to get lost in all the little things that bother us! Surround yourself with good people and good thoughts, cut out bad influences... and be humble and thankful!
Making connections. Some who stay, some who might fade, some who only last for a fleeting moment! But it’s important to recognize these moments for what they are: special and of inherent beauty. Just as those encounters with wild animals, lasting for just a fraction of a second before they disappear, deeper into nature, only leaving snowy footprints as proof they ever existed.
