Obsessed with these baked mushroom fries... although they taste more like mushroom-y chicken tenders? Seriously, I need to write down the recipe for these because they are RIDICULOUS! They’re king trumpet mushrooms coated in a blend of flax seeds, nutritional yeast, Parmesan, dried onions, everything bagel seasoning, paprika, and garlic. Baked in the oven at 425 for maybe 30 mins. They turn it SO crispy and meaty! So so obsessed.
Obsessed with the avocado smoothie bc it’s super thick and creamy and barely uses any fruit! Whenever I have some avocados that are on the verge of going bad, I slice in half and put in the freezer for smoothies. It adds such a creamy texture plus you get a boost of healthy fats and vitamins! This beauty was made with half an avocado, 1/3 of a banana, cauliflower, a TON of kale, @furtherfood collagen, @gardenoflife vanilla protein, peanut butter, spirulina, and water. Topped with coconut flakes, hemp seeds, cacao nibs, and more pb swirled in. This is seriously the best start to the day 🙌🏻💚!!
Another weekend brunch courtesy of the hubby. Omelet made with tons of veggies and @vitalfarms pasture raised eggs. Stuffed inside with some organic mozzarella bc cheese is da best. This is sitting on top of @breadsrsly sourdough and avocado. Served with a side of wild smoked salmon. Now we’re super stuffed and off to run some errands, including taking the pup to the vet (she’s having some issues with her trachea due to the poor air quality around here 😭😭😭). I cannot believe we are almost half way through October and this is the first pumpkin spiced-anything I’ve made all year. Clearly I need to get my priorities in line bc this is not okay (basic af and I don’t care). Switched up from the usual green smoothie this morning bc I worked from home this morning and took the time to make these Pumpkin Protein Waffles! So so delicious and filled the pumpkin void in my life instantly. Seriously make these:
1/4 cup almond flour
2 tbsp tapioca
1 scoop @gardenoflife vanilla protein
1 scoop @furtherfood collagen
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/4 tsp turmeric
Pinch of salt
1/3 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup pumpkin purée
Whisk together dry ingredients. Whisk in coconut milk, pumpkin purée and egg until combined. Heat your waffle maker and make waffles per your device’s instructions. Top with peanut butter, maple syrup, cacao nibs, hemp seeds, and any other topping you want! Enjoy!
Breakfasts on Sunday are meant to be eaten in pajamas and with messy hands 😋. Open faced sandwiches courtesy of the hubby - @amyskitchen gluten free sandwich thins topped with grilled halloumi cheese, @applegate organic bacon, @vitalfarms pasture raised eggs, and @traderjoes everything bagel seasoning. We love these sandwich thins bc they’re just the right amount of thickness for us and hold up perfectly. Now we’re off to play tennis and run some usual Sunday errands! Happy Sunday friends 👋🏻😘!
Kale salads are seriously my favorite, especially when it’s topped with an egg with a runny yolk. But only when it’s lacinato (Dino) kale bc it is far far superior to curly kale (duh). Massaged kale salad with grated Parmesan, chopped pistachios, @nutiva hemp seeds, and @primalkitchenfoods honey mustard dressing. Topped with half of an avocado, microgreens, and @vitalfarms pasture raised eggs. And of course, sprinkled @traderjoes everything bagel seasoning over the top bc it’s 🔥🔥🔥. Still crushing on this smoothie from yesterday morning, wishing I had it for lunch today since it’s still so warm here ☀️. I mean, 80s in October? I made it over in stories yesterday, but basically it’s full of all the goods: frozen zucchini, frozen kale, frozen banana, spinach, chard, @gardenoflife vanilla protein, @furtherfood collagen, spirulina, @navitasorganics maca, @foursigmatic chaga, @naturebox peanut butter, and water. This is my go-to smoothie every single morning since I’m obsessed with getting my greens in first thing in the day. Hooray for Friday!!!

When you have leftover apple honey challah bread, the only reasonable thing to do is make challah-good French toast. Used up the remaining couple slices of my homemade organic challah bread I made earlier this week to make this glorious brunch at home. Whisk up some organic pastured eggs with almond milk, cinnamon, and salt plus 2 scoops of @vitalproteins collagen peptides for a protein and gut health boost. Then dip slices of challah bread in egg mixture. Cook in hot skillet sprayed with avocado oil. Top with tons of @wild_friends peanut butter, organic maple syrup, and @naturebox cacao nibs for the best French toast you’ve ever had. Not a terrible way to start a Saturday!
The hugest kale salad from @coffeebarsf for a late lunch today. Full of veggies + added some chicken breast for that protein 👊🏻. It was seriously so big that I couldn't finish it in one sitting, which I don't think has EVER happened, but I'm not complaining 🤷🏻♀️.
This is what happens when you can't decide between sweet or savory for breakfast 🤷🏻♀️ - you go with both. Started meal prep nice and early so we can go off and have fun later in the day. Used some of the prepped goods like roasted mashed sweet potatoes and soft boiled eggs in a bowl with @thecoconutcult yogurt, peanut butter, @nutiva hemp seeds, chia seeds, and sea salt. Random assortment of things currently sitting in my fridge for dinner. Brown rice, roasted sweet potatoes, @aidellssausage organic chicken meatballs, @vitalfarms pasture raised eggs, and sauerkraut. Took less than 3 minutes to put together and probably less than 3 minutes to eat, too 🤣. No cooking tonight and I'm perfectly okay with that!
Way too much fun making toast today with @createprojectsf! Put a group of creative people in a room with a toast bar and you'll get some amazing creations. Started out with an avocado rose, but why should avocados have all the fun?? Stacked the avo flower next to some @laquercia prosciutto flowers and sliced hard boiled eggs on top of @alvaradostreetbakery bread. Sprinkled over with some everything bagel seasoning. For my sweet toast, topped another slice with homemade berry chia jam, banana flowers, and @baresnacks coconut chips! So into these LOADED green smoothies lately. It's seriously the easiest way to get in so many nutrients! I pretty much do a base frozen cauliflower, about 1/2 frozen banana, and coconut milk and completely stuff the @vitamix with as much greens as I can. Then add in a bunch of supplements: @vitalproteins collagen (always), @navitasorganics maca, @foursigmatic chaga, reishi, and coryceps, @sunpotion he shou wu, bee pollen, spirulina, royal jelly, @alohamoment vanilla protein, and @bulletproof brain octane. Put this into a ceramic bowl I got in a market in Tel Aviv and topped with corn flowers, rose petals, and more bee pollen. Perfect late lunch today before I head off to a BBQ in the evening! This packed lunch is where it's at 🙌🏻🔥. Thanks to meal prepping, this lunch was super easy to throw together to bring to work today. Bed of @organicgirl arugula with brown rice and quinoa, roasted cauliflower, and shredded chicken. Topped with sliced beets, tomatoes, avocado, microgreens, and roasted sweet potatoes with pistachios. Drizzled @primalkitchenfoods honey mustard dressing over the top to take this to the next level 💯💯💯. Also packed this up in an extra larger container bc the usual size just isn't cutting it 🙅🏻. Been OBSESSED with this toast combo the past few days. I was inspired by @shakethatmarshmallow to make flax bread (recipe from @elanaspantry) and it's so good and easy to make! Topped with white cheese (Israeli spreadable cheese that's delicious on just about EVERYTHING). Topped with za'atar and pink salt for the most filling and tasty start to the day. Spending the last few days in Israel eating all the things and getting too much sun at the beach - no other way to do vacation 🤷🏻♀️💃🏻!
