First attempt at a home-made vegan poke bowl. Not bad. Soba noodles, fresh salad, vegetables, roast pumpkin, onion and cauliflower with home made ginger pickle. This was then covered with fresh mint, parsley, sesame seeds, tamari almonds, lime juice and a dollop of vegan wasabi mayonnaise. Soooo fresh, healthy and delicious. To make up for an overindulgent weekend.
Now I love this brunch option but I don’t love its name...the MANwich? Pffttt. Bugger that. I knocked it off no problems...double bacon, double egg, double cheese, smashed avocado token lettuce and a home-made hash brown w home-made relish. Delicious. #changethename
Dinner at the delightfully quirky Nourishing Quarter. If you haven’t been, give it a try with a small group of friends or your bff. Not a lot of wriggle room but excellent food and very interesting decor and vibe. Sacred Khot.
