Located just an hour Northeast of Las Vegas, @valley.of.fire State Park is home to unique bright red sandstone formations that appear to be on fire at certain times of the day. On the way home from an early morning shoot in the park, Julius Schlosburg, friend of Pew and professional photographer, came across every nature lover's dream: "As I was leaving, I saw a bighorn sheep dart across the road just in front of me. I pulled over and walked into a wash to find myself literally in the middle of the herd! I stayed with them for about an hour; they were indescribably breathtaking. I'm still reliving the morning in my head. Don't leave this place out if you ever find yourself in the Las Vegas area."
