Careless doodles then and now. Left is around 2011, right is 2017. Sorry for being quiet, I actually haven't been home. I'm at my mom's hotel while waiting for #hurricaneirma to pass through my city. I'm perfectly fine and everything is okay 😘💖
Here's a couple of Death Girls I drew up last night. My own little humanoid species 👻
Death Girls are made of melancholic emotions and are constantly morphing, melting into the floor, or opening and closing unique wounds and crack-like scars on their fleshy surfaces. The open wounds reveal an infinite assortment of things such as brick walls, TV static, paper with written messages on them, etc. They have no internal organs or mouths and are incapable of feeling pain or exhibiting any form of communication that isn't physical, such as hugging and comforting others of any species. They are harmless, but known to stalk and violate the personal space of anyone they are drawn to with overbearing affection.
I'll take better pics when I find the time ^_^; Okay so first of all, I need to blush his skin to match his face now 😂 i went a little nuts with the skin texturing. He has freckles but my phones camera can't pick them up. He's wearing some random clothes I found that barely fit him because I have nothing for him yet. The faceup is probably going to change soon, but I think it's okay for my first attempt on a bjd. Originally I had planned for him to have a gentle, pastel aesthetic, but now that he's here I think he fits more of an alternative style. His pouty cheeks make me think he's meant to be an alt boy with a bad attitude 😈 I still haven't thought of a name for him. First time making a wig too, and I must say I think it's really fun, and I'll probably be replacing reroots with wigs in the future! Overall, I love my first bjd and I'm excited to continue working on him in the future.
