It baffles me when people don't know how to poach an egg 🀷 
Step 1: boil water 
Step 2: add salt & tsp vinegar (more for more water obvs)
Step 3: stir/swirl water
Step 4: carefully drop egg(s) into centre of swirl
Step 5: boil 'gently' πŸ€” for 3 to 5 mins on med/high heat depending on if you like the yoke hard of soft.

You can break the egg directly into the water too but.....2 hands πŸ€—πŸ˜… Also the fresher the egg the better. You can stir the water GENTLY every so often so egg doesn't stick to the saucepan. Use a timer!
