Cheers!! On my way back to Melbourne, its been a whirlwind trip to England with 2 shows, catching up with my family & old friends, galivanting the length and breadth of the country.
The main purpose of this trip was to be able to compete with my family watching and they completely surprised me by coming to both shows, which i totally didn't expect - it was wonderful to have so much support.
I'm so lucky, grateful and thankful. Feeling very blessed. 🤗
And how good is this - paid 25pounds to get into the sky team lounge a d got a free facial!
Didn't get the big trophy but still winning all the way!! 😆
I'm constantly amazed at how my body handles competing, and backing up week after week with my condition often improving the more i compete!
Today i've pulled up 1kg heavier and yes obviously a bit softer, but i just added up what i ate yesterday and once you read the list i think you'll agree that a mere 1kg is not much at all:
200g sweet potato
6 rice cakes w jam or honey
2 rices cakes w cashew nut butter
4 rice cakes w butter and cheese
2 x 150g bags lollies
1 packet gf cranberry oat biscuits (6 biscuits)
1 packet gf jaffa cakes (10 biscuits)
1 dairy free chocolate bar
Club sandwich w chicken, bacon, avo
Sweet potato fries
4 chicken skewers w mint yoghurt
1.5 pints cider
1 gin and tonic
1 gf chicken and bacon pie.
Thats a tidy 7500+ calories!!! 😲😲 Protein: 150g
Carbs: 1059g!!! Its quite astounding - i should be 3-4kg heavier today!! 😋😅
Posing on point, stage performance on point, conditioning on point. disappointed not to make top 6, but I still won because my parents and brother made it to the show, shouted their hearts out for me and saw me at my best.
I'm so humbled and grateful them for being there, my journey is complete 😌
