The first part of this verse is one I taught my children early. No complaining, no arguing. Period! When they were younger it was an easy verse to remember, and it has served them well. I rarely hear them arguing or complaining. However, now that they are older I think it may be time to discuss why the Lord wants us to refrain from complaining. We can be children of God shining like stars among this generation of crooked and warped complainers! If that isn’t something to aspire to, I don’t know what is! How often do you hear someone complain? And how does it make you feel? Happy, Joyful? Nope. What about when you find yourself complaining? Bring any joy? Nope. Speaking from experience this is not easy! It is so easy to get sucked into a group of complainers. Our power in those situations comes from holding firmly to the word. So today I am renewing my will to refrain from complaining. Today I am thankful the Lord uses my expectations for my children to mold me and bring me closer to him.
Apparently we need another round of sickness here in the Schmitz Home! Got to see those Cheerios a second time 🤮 Thankful for a nontoxic effective cleaner to get rid of the germs! I seriously use this for everything! #ditchthechemicals
