Sharing one of my older recipes with you today- CHOCOLATE CHIP BUCKWHEAT COOKIE 🍪 🍪 🍪 
Recipe 👇🏻
- 1 1/4 cups of buckwheat flour
- 1/2 cup of coconut oil (melted)
- 1/4 cup of coconut sugar
- 1/4 ground almonds
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence - 1 egg
- 3/4 cup of dark chocolate chips - 1/2 teaspoon of pink Himalayan salt
Bake in the oven for 12-15 mins 👩🏻‍🍳

I have also uploaded my new blog post that talks around feeling ‘guilty’ around food at Christmas time- please have a read and let me know what you think LINK IN BIO🙏🏻 Christmas time can be an anxiety provoking time for some people and Im hoping this blog will help a few of you relax around food this season and not feel so guilty! 
So back to this picture 👆🏻 STRAWBERRY & WHITE CHOCOLATE COOKIES 🍓 🍪 they look good right!? RECIPE BELOW👇🏻
- 1/2 cup of tiger nut flour (or almond flour)
- 1 cup of spelt flour - 2 tablespoons of ghee butter (melted) - 1/4 cup of almond milk - 1 teaspoon baking soda - 1 teaspoon vanilla - 1 Flaxseed egg - 1/2 bag of @urbanfruituk dried strawberries - 50g white chocolate 
Mix all ingredients (apart from the white choc) in a bowl until you have a dough like consistency. Mould 8-10 Cookies On baking paper and bake in the oven for 12-15 mins. Melt whilst chocolate on top 👩🏻‍🍳 •

There is so much to learn about food and nutrition and as professionals, we also have the responsibility to help people un-learn things too! For years we’ve been hit with mixed messages (mostly in the media) about what’s healthy and what’s not 🤦🏻‍♀️

New potatoes and asparagus roasted in olive oil, seasoned with salt, pepper and rosemary…. Yep thats new potatoes because potatoes are not bad for you and do not equal weight gain. Deep frying them of course is a different story.
So many carbs are seen as ‘bad’ and something we should limit in our diet. When in fact they are our body’s and brain’s primary source of energy therefore if you don’t eat enough carbs, the likelihood is, you’ll lack energy and your brain isn’t thinking straight! 
Potatoes and sweet potatoes are BOTH beneficial to ones diet- one is not better than the other they just have slightly different nutrients involved. 💚
New potatoes are a great source of dietary fibre, Vitamin B6, manganese, phosphorus and niacin. Drizzle them in some olive oil and seasoning and damnn do they taste good! I will be serving this dish up with a lovely piece of salmon tonight! 🙋🏻
