One year later and it's finally happening! We're on to decorating our bedroom 😂. _________________________________________
We currently have the 1970s wood paneling that was painted by the previous owner 🤢 but now it's time to make it our own! My original plan was to actually wallpaper over the paneling because I hate it.... And let's be serious I'm not that adventurous to take it down and see what's behind 😜. _________________________________________
But now???? After countless hours of watching @hgtv.fixerupper I obviously want a shiplapped wall in the bedroom. SO..... If you've embarked on this adventure yourself... What it USED to look like was me working my 9-5 and then rushing to someplace else (Country Club, Restaurant, etc) to finish my day off working a quick shift. You see, ever since college I've worked 2 jobs to try and make some extra money to put towards student loans...or let's be serious, life.
But my free time and energy were being zapped ⚡. Which meant #allworkandnoplay 😕 and still feeling stressed out over my student loans. Which is WHY this picture is different.
I still work ✌️ jobs. But on my own terms. From where I want. So instead of missing my fur babies I get to cuddle up next to them as I work my second job. Don't get me wrong.... It's no walk in the park. I w o r k and there are sacrifices. But being able to work towards my financial freedom and be home with my furry kids is definitely an added perk 👌.
⏩Know those days when you just kill your workout 💀??? It's almost like it's laying in pieces on the floor? 😂 OK, OK just kidding.... I actually really need to start cleaning up the basement BUT........ _________________________________________
✋ Let's be REAL. Getting my workout done before 5am used to seem impossible... In fact some days it's still does 😴....But having the ability to roll out of bed and into the basement for a perfectly planned workout with a trainer makes is SO much easier. I seriously don't know why more people don't do it 🤷??? _________________________________________

Tip: On days where I have trouble getting in all my veggies 🍆🥒🍅🥕 I add a side salad with dinner. I keep veggies chopped for the week and just throw them on top of some Power Greens from Olivia's Greens.

We can't control how others treat us or if things "go our way". Instead ➡️ Decide what kind of day you're going to have and respond accordingly to these situations.
⏩Have you ever wanted something SO bad that you could feel it? See it? Breathe it? Did you quit? Did you keep on pushing for it no matter what?
Over the past 2 years I've failed more times than I would ever care to admit. But I have this crazy vision. And it's not just a vision for myself but for you too. Because I know that I'm not alone and there are so many other people like me. It's what has kept me going after failing time and time again. It's why I do what I do.
Part of that vision is freedom. I talk with so many people, including myself, who list numerous things they can't do because they aren't free. Free of debt. Have free time. Free to run around with their kids. Free to be confident. This drives me at the core to keep working through those failures so that not only can I have freedom...but so can you. I'll never stop failing, because if I do... It means I stopped trying, and that's just not me.

This year I'm looking to stay on track with my meal plans and enjoy that occasional treat..because #christmascookies and #pumpkinpie .... duh 🤷

It's SUPER simple ➡️ Count backwards!
Why?!? 👉 It gives you a goal to work towards. There IS an END. You're not counting up into the seemingly endless abyss of numbers. 👉 Counting backwards require more brain power than forwards... Taking your mind OFF what you're doing physically 💪 and refocusing it on something else
So today during your workouts just remember: 5...4...3...2...1....💪
