Feeling very lucky to be getting out on the rivers a bunch these last few weeks. This is a view of the North Fork American Wild and Scenic River from a place called Lovers Leap.

Stopped for a scenic view and saw a guy base jumping off this bridge. Unfortunately didn't have time to get a picture. What a wild and wonderful world we live in.

Almost 211 years ago to the day, after traveling across the country and finally making it to the Pacific Ocean, Lewis and Clark turned around and headed home. But the expedition and exploration wasn't over. Clark split off to explore the Yellowstone river and signed his name into Pompey's Pillar, this large rock I was standing on. History feels very different out west. In some ways it's easier to send yourself back in time in places like this.
