Magical Marquesas 💫 @tejhiney capturing an ID of this small male Manta off the coast of Nuku Hiva. Belly shots capture the unique freckle pattern, which is used to monitor manta ray populations 😁👏 @zegrahmexpeditions
Descendants of the Ocean Time the people of Melanesia and Polynesia are far from the feared cannibals that Able Tasman wrote about. They are incredibly warm and welcoming humans 🌺🙏🏻 Faces of Futuna @zegrahmexpeditions
Before every big adventure there's excitement. You're throwing yourself into the unknown, the mind wanders through the myriad of possibilities. It's thrilling and terrifying. This trip will be one of my biggest adventures so far, sailing Fiji to Easter Island over the next 5 weeks as part of the expedition staff on a small ship. An incredible opportunity to explore the most extensive expanse of ocean on the planet, its islands, the animals and the people that call this place home. The South Pacific. Let the adventure begin with my best adventure buddy @tejhiney ✈️✌🏻🌺 Love .

"Our lives do not belong to us. We are just taking care of them.... Giving up a self orientated view of life, giving up trying to attain things for the mind helps us understand how to truely take care of whatever comes along. Then we can enjoy the bubbles 💦." - Les Kaye

Lunar awareness 💫
A knowledge that things must inevitably change. That the tide keeps coming in, only to turn again and drain the ribbon of land that knows both earth and sea. Sculpting the shoreline into an enchanting space, where creations are born and destroyed, always changing, always inspiring.
"We did not come into this world. We came out of it, like buds out of branches and butterflies out of cocoons. We are a natural product of this earth, and if we turn out to be intelligent beings, then it can only be because we are fruits of an intelligent earth, which is nourished by an intelligent system of energy" - Lyall Watson, Gifts of Unknown Things.

Hair mask & conditioner 🌿
This delicious rosemary hair mask saved my hair on the Ningaloo and kick started an excitement to DIY my beauty and cleaning products so I can avoid unnecessary plastic wrapped products. A big thank you to these passionate and mindful women who's way of living has inspired me and made me realise how easy and fun it is! @forrestinwonderland @plasticfreemermaid @peta.sea 💙🌿👏
To make this incredible rosemary hair mask:
1. Take the leaves off 4 rosemary stems and place in jar with 500ml grape seed oil (you can also use olive oil, but grape seed is finer and by my logic can penetrate the hair more deeply)
2. Heat this oil in a bain-marie until the water boils around the jar, then let cool for 12hrs.
3. Strain the rosemary leaves and repeat, using the one time infused oil with fresh rosemary.
4. Once the second lot of leaves is strained, add one tablespoon of beeswax and heat the oil until it is dissolved.
I use this delicious serum before ocean adventures to stop salty shafts and broken ends. It also works as conditioner if used 15 min before showering, apply a small portion to ends - then wash with shampoo (still need a good DIY shampoo.. will keep searching). E N J O Y 💫😁👏
