I recently purchased a box of @glutinofoods table crackers and I was NOT disappointed πŸ‘ŒπŸΌI had so much fun dressing them up in different, creative ways! Here are three of my favorite creations- almond butter + chia seeds + blueberries, @daiyafoods cream cheese + cherry tomato + fresh chives, and avocado mashed + chili lime seasoning + fresh cilantro ✨ What are your favorite toppings? πŸ˜‹

Sushi is a great go-to meal when you're wanting to eat out and easily avoid FODMAPs! 🍣 There are always so many options on a sushi menu that are food intolerant friendly. The simplest rolls are the safest and you can dress them up as you like with ginger, soy sauce (or alternative such as coconut aminos), wasabi, etc. I try to avoid the rolls with sauces that could have hidden FODMAPs! I also avoid tempura rolls because the gluten and grease do not agree with me. Going out for sushi can become expensive, so I decide to make my own rolls! There is a Japanese market near my apartment complex where I purchased sushi grade tuna and salmon. They also sell sushi rice and seaweed sheets. I put tuna, salmon, avocado, carrots, cucumber, and green onions in these babies πŸ˜‹πŸ±πŸ₯•πŸ₯’πŸ₯‘ What is your favorite type of roll?

My Double Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies are on the blog now! β˜πŸΌπŸ˜‹When I started to stack these yummies for a photo, I instantly thought of the ever-popular yogic act of balancing stones πŸ™πŸ» Yoga is my favorite form of exercise! It not only keeps me healthy and active, but it also helps keep me calm and centered! I'm lucky because my mom is the best yoga instructor I know, and I'm spoiled because I get to practice with her regularly πŸ’• Daily exercise is so great for improved digestion and stress relief. My new post "7 Morning Habits to Kick Start Your Day" is live on the blog now ☝🏼✨ I'm spending this gorgeous Sunday relaxing at my in-laws lake house with family, and I wanted to share a little bit about my morning routine and how I stay relaxed and calm everyday of the week. With so many distractions in our lives, it's easy to wake up and dive right into our day without taking a little time for ourselves. But this can be exhausting and lead to some serious burn-out! Stress and anxiety can worsen already existing digestion issues, cause inflammation of the GI tract, and affect the muscles of the GI tract. I made @inspiralized 's Spiralized Butternut Squash and Leek Risotto recipe and it was incredible πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ I easily made her recipe low FODMAP by subbing the oil and garlic for garlic infused olive oil and only using the green parts of the leeks! The recipe is on her website. I served mine with grilled chicken and added a little fresh rosemary from my garden. I've been following Ali for over two years now, and I love everything she posts. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with IBS, and I've been following a low FODMAP diet ever since. I've been amazed that simple diet changes have improved my symptoms so immensely! I started Taming Tummies to share my low FODMAP recipes, tips, and tricks and to connect with others following this diet and healthy lifestyle. I'm a Columbus, Ohio native married to my best friend @rn_pataro_iv. We have a rescue dog named Mowgli, and we love the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
