Hello loves! So sorry for my absence. As some of you know, I endured hip surgery not too long ago, which is why I've been MIA. BUT I will have another video posted soon!
Until then, I thought we could about skin care! (No I am not about to sell you something) But I can give advice on very affordable drug store brands that do WONDERS!
The condition and health of your skin is the true foundation that you need for makeup. The better state your skin is in, the more beautiful your makeup will be! (No matter if it's drug store makeup or specialty makeup) So first, let's talk about cleansing and detoxifying! A staple in any skin care routine should be a GENTLE (No harsh chemicals) cleanser and a NATURAL detoxifying face mask. The cleanser should be used twice a day, and face mask 1-2 times a week.
The next thing everyone should have is an exfoliant. For beautiful, smooth, glowing skin with even tone, a GENTLE exfoliant is a MUST! This can be a cleanser or face pad/brush. These items should be used 1-2 times a week. ** If your skin has a hard time sluffing off dead skins cells on it's own (like mine) Then it's okay to exfoliate once a day. (I prefer at night) But just remember to be GENTLE! ** Exfoliating the skin also helps facial moisturizers and creams to soak in 10x better and faster! Which leads us to our next topic... Moisturizers!
It is VERY, I repeat, VERY important to moisturize at LEAST twice a day. (Morning and night) A general rule of thumb is to apply your desired lotion or cream every time you wash your face. This isn't just to fight off wrinkles and aging. This ensures your skin stays smooth with an even tone. It also helps combat oily skin. And most of all, hydrated skin makes makeup application smooth, effortless, and LONG LASTING!

Happy Sunday!
