This home just looks so beautifully vibrant covered in snow 💙💛❤️💚 #allofthecolors #westhartford
Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful, and since we’ve no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! ❄️ What’s your favorite Christmas carol? #litchfield

White homes with bright red doors were made for snowy days! I think every home has its best season, just like every person has certain colors that highlight their features best. People tell me when I wear green that my eyes just pop! That’s what this door is doing right now...poppin’! #litchfield

On my stories last week I asked for recommendations for a place to visit in New Hampshire that was chock full of historic homes, had a charming town center, and was decked for the holiday season. Amherst, NH checks all of those boxes beautifully! Bonus? Fresh fallen snow! I just adore the colors on this cute little Cape Cod home that we spotted driving into town #amherst

Quite possibly my favorite holiday house ever! The only thing that could make it better is a dusting of the white stuff ❄️ We are getting some snow in Connecticut today, and I was blown away by the pictures of snow in Alabama yesterday! What’s happening where you are? #suffield

Just a little #tbt to that time I noticed mama and baby trompe l’oiel horses on a little backroad in Vermont. #arlington

Just love me an old colonial home! My fave things about this one? That shade of blue on the door. The original storm windows. And that unique door arrangement. Do you love colonial homes? #norwalk

Charming GrayBarns on the Silvermine River in Norwalk, CT provides a “haven of refuge” to New York City dwellers longing for a weekend away from the city’s hustle and bustle. Of course, us Connecticut folk can stay there, too! I’m dreaming of a tavern dinner by the fire followed by a well-deserved rest in one of the inn’s cozy beds! Swipe to see more photos of the inns lovely interior and tavern. #norwalk

Someone named Ebenezer once lived here. Clearly he was no Scrooge! Just look at this delightful Italianate home. Built c. 1890, it is listed in the inventory for the Ridgefield Center Historic District. Ebenezer Hoyt lived right next to his brother Edwin, whose home was also built in the Italianate style. A third brother Charles lived next to them, too, in a Queen Anne Victorian. Three homes in a row! Sounds kind of nice, doesn’t it? 💁🏻‍♂️💁🏻‍♂️💁🏻‍♂️#ridgefield

What a fun and festive day! Charming host @debbie_propst, President of @onekingslane, welcomed our lucky group into her home. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care (and then some!) Take a peek at my Instastories for some holiday decorating inspiration. And if you would like to see her home, it is one of five that will be open this weekend @newcomersholidayhousetour! I highly recommend it if you need to jump start your holiday spirit 🎄#newcanaan #myholidaystyle
