The Reticular Activating System (RAS) serves a filter and decides which information is important and which isn't. These information can include sounds, tastes, colors, and pictures.
Since there are many as 2,000,000 bits of data at any time, your brain can only process so much at a time. Therefore, your RAS filter only allows things through that it thinks is IMPORTANT.
So how does it know what is important? By what you FOCUS ON MOST.
Have you noticed that people who say . . . "I'm not very confident, I can't lose weight, and I'm always late?" These people are exactly what what they said they are.
Always be careful what you focus on, because if you don't, then your RAS will show you things to prove that this is true for you.
The more proof you see, the stronger your belief system that it is true.
Set your mind to look for the positives, then your RAS will show you things to prove that your new belief system is true for you.
That's how your mind determines your success.
This is what I try to instill in my clients.
In order to succeed, you have to want it more than anything else.
If you want the success, you better love the grind. Because that is what it is going to be to achieve it. There are no easy roads or shortcuts. Just basic hard work.
In terms of fitness, finances, even relationships, one must grind to make it work. Fall in love with the process and watch yourself improve and change into the person who deserves to #win .
So remember that whatever your goal is, work hard with love for the process. And you will eventually get there.

You won't be disappointed.
Relationships aren't easy, but they are definitely necessary.
Anyone whom you surround yourself with, has a role to play in your continued growth. Some people may fill multiple roles for you, but rest assured that everyone close to you serves a purpose.
For me, it's this woman right here. She has supported me through thick and thin. And she does not disappoint in letting me know what's wrong and what needs to be improved.
Whether it's past or present, whatever relationship you are in, remember that that person is there for you to #levelup in your life.
"When nothing seems to help, I go look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow, it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before." - Jacob Riis
When you want to be successful in an endeavor, be consistent, persistent, and most of all, patience.
I just want to give a huge shoutout to these two women whom I have a ton of respect for.
My EFT client @drshaelynosborn and my girlfriend @nicoledoumont will be joining forces tonight for their first speaking engagement tonight in #brantford . They will be speaking to women from all walks of life.
I'm very proud of them for doing this. Thanks to all of the women for coming out to support them.

Just finished up some chest and biceps this morning.
Gotta get my bench back up. That will come in time.
No idea where my weight is. Will check by month's end . . . maybe 😁. Hope everyone is crushing it today 💪.

Put yourself in situations that challenge you.
Be the person who looks for such situations to get better not just on a physical level, but on a personal level.
Life doesn't get easier, you just get better - @quotejimrohn
Getting results doesn't take that much time at all, it's actually NOT getting results that does take all the time.
I just did my last weigh in for my own 4 week weight journey. As you can see from the picture, there are a few differences such as smaller waist and tighter abs.
Am I happy with tmy results? Could I have been better? Absolutely yes to both questions.
My reason for doing this was for me but more so to show people that you can accomplish a lot in a short amount of time.
After my photoshoot with @west_studio, I was still in good shape, even with some treats every weekend. But I slowly realized that I needed to regain some control. So I decided to do this journey for myself and I am happy to say that I did it. This prep had some hard times but I knew that it was not going to be easy.
I only trained 4 times (some total body workouts, and upper and lower body splits for others). I performed a max of 20 mins of cardio post workout, and then on my rest days, I did 60 mins. I could have gotten away with less but I used this time to focus on reading and preparing for my day.
At the start, I starting counting macros and towards to end (less than 2 weeks ago) I counted just calories. Both strategies worked great for me.
I lost 9 lbs over the 4 weeks. Many people would say that I didn't need to lose any. And they're right. Like I said before, I did this for me but more for you guys. And I'm happy that I did this.
The picture above was not meant to show that I can do this. It was meant to show that YOU can do this successfully.
All you have to do is
-> know exactly what you want (have clarity in your goals)
-> want it bad enough (don't be lazy)
-> believe in yourself 100% that you can do it
-> take the time to learn, hire a coach, and improve
-> Do what needs to be (execute the plan). Develop habits for long term success.
I really hope that my small journey has helped you in a very big way.
Once you embrace the fact that your journey is going to be filled with ups and downs, it will be much easier.
Have a great Saturday 🙏
