BEACHY GREEN JUICE🌊💚 HAPPY WEDNESDAY EVERYONE!🙌
Today I want to bring you my second update on the green juice challenge💫💚
For almost two weeks I have been drinking nothing but green juice for the first hours of the day🌿👌 Some of the main benefits I have experienced long term are:
🍃Hair and skin look better: definitely hydratation plays a huge role on the aspect of your hair and skin. Being hydrated it's so key, and there is no better way to do it that with green juice(regular water doesn't hydrate as much and it's not absorbed the same way)
🍀Less hunger: as my body gets it's main nutrients from the juice my hunger really has decreased within the challenge.
🌿Less thirst: I have no desire or minimal need to drink water within the day.
💫More energy: green juices improve blood flow bringing you more energy and faster recovery after a workout💪Actually, I find them the best post-workout you can have!
✨Improved sleep and relaxation: green juice definitely helps to relax your body easily and reduces insomnia.
🍇Fruit tastes better: I no longer eat with the need of getting water from the fruit as I have that need fullfilled. I tend to crave more dense fruits such as mangoes or figs💗
And also I have to mention a few downsides of the challenge:
🕛It's very time consuming and maybe more expensive than having a fruit meal: it takes a while to wash your veggies and juice them, plus clean all the tools.
👎Not enough calories: It's hard to get calories from just green juice. Sometimes I can feel way too light on it If I'm doing a lot of exercice in the morning
🍓You can miss the feeling of having other things for breakfast such as a smoothie bowl or other fruits.
For the rest I just find that this is the perfect option to break the fast💦👌

#tb to those lovely summer days💙 Honestly this first week of going back to real life has been harder than I expected.
A few weeks ago I took a decision that impacted my whole life, without even being conscious of it. I chose to do a second specialty on my career focused on natural sciences. Honestly, I took this decision quite blindly, just because I was attracted to science based studies such as astronomy and natural philosophies. Now, my reality has completely shifted away from what it used to be. Since I have to go to two different universities in one day, I find myself running around busily from one place to another, waiting hours inside trains to get to the next station and eating fruit in the most unexpected places.
But you know what? At the end of the day this is bringing me so much more than what it takes away from me.
Never underestimate the power of life to make you grow. 🙏I know this experience will bring me just where I need to be and I'm grateful for it. Every circumstance can be a blessing or a course. It's all a matter of YOUR perspective✨🙏
