Would really appreciate it if anyone who hasn't already could add up @jamesaspey @joey_carbstrong & @earthlinged and watch their stories. Big big big stories worth watching & sharing. James & Joey alongside many other legends on their 5th day of fasting outside a slaughterhouse, lots of desperately needed media coverage and same beautiful stories of the police officers who have been there alongside them, starting to reach out to the activists. Meanwhile Earthling Eds been at the scene of a overturned truck full of Christmas turkeys, pictures and videos of the 'rescuers' dumping the surving traumatised birds into trucks to be taken to slaughter instead of allowing the activists to take them to rescue shelters. Baring in mind most will be killed and thrown away due to being injured. Please, share the pictures & get the truth out! 💚🌱✌
How are we living in a world where money determines morality, where animals are literally screaming in unbearable agony, a noise that would rip you in two if you heard it, and yet it's the people who speak out against it who are arrested and thrown into jail?
If someone were to butcher any animal alive in the street they'd be arrested in a heartbeat yet the police will arrest you if you try to save, or even feed one of these dehydrated suffering babies (5 months old) a sip of water.
This honestly tears me apart, trapped in a world that is so disgustingly corrupt yet no-one can see it, hell, I didn't even see it until a year ago. You try to speak out and show people the truth and you're written off as an extremist.
The world is changing and one day humanity will look back on this in utter disgust as they have done throughout every atrocity in history, but days like today, watching my friends who have sworn to peace get pushed and shoved around by a ridiculous amount of police officers, whilst truck load after truck load of screaming (I swear to God I wish everyone could hear the screams) babies gets driven into gas chambers.
I may get knocked down, and my heart may be ripped out time and time again until this ends, but what does not kill me only makes me stronger.
To those who are still paying for this to happen, I do not think badly of you. I understand how it feels to not fully grasp the reality of what is happening around us. I beg you however to watch Earthlings, The Land of Hope and Glory or Thousand Eyes. Please, be the change this world so desperately needs.
Home made pizza for the win last night. This ripper has asparagus, mushrooms, red onion, spring onion, spinach, cherroy tomatoes, sweetcorn, olives, sundried tomatoes and follow your heart dairy free mozzarella.
I have managed to sample many of the culinary delights Newtown has to offer & Golden Lotus is by far my favourite spot. Dragged the best one here yesterday, couldn't tempt him to try anything off the menu nor a bite of my food (yet 😜) but being able to pick from an entire menu and seeing the place packed out every single time I go is the best feeling in the world. If you haven't been, do so!! The food is unreal, the service is amazing and the atmosphere is unmeasurable. @goldenlotusvegan #veganismismagic#bethechange
Smashed out a tofu, mixed veg and wild & brown rice for dinner this week. Was a gamble as i made my own tofu sauce using soy sauce, sesame seed oil, smidge of fish sauce, grated ginger & garlic nearly a full crushed oxo cube and maple syrup, topped the whole thing with fresh lime juice and homegrown chives, the fussy other half had never tried tofu before so I made sure to have this ready for when he was starving and to both our surprise he ate it all and went back for seconds 🙌💃🎉🎈
Yay for @beyondmeat burgers!! Been buzzing to try these since Ive heard of them. These were pricey but good. Tried eating as raw as possible but freaked out about the mushrooms last minute, so cooked them with a few asparagus stems.
Hearing veganism being referred to as 'extreme' and 'a belief' a lot lately. Firstly I understand that the realisation that we need to change what we have eaten since childhood can feel extreme at first, but unnecessarily slaughtering 56 billions land animals along with dragging trillions of marine life from the oceans is actually extreme. People dying in massive numbers across the world from starvation when we could easily feed the world with the food we use in animal agriculture is extreme. Ocean dead zones due to the dumping of the animal ag waste into the sea is extreme. There are so many extremes yet living in alignment, peacefully, with your core values and ethics is probably the least extreme thing you could do.
Secondly, what I have stated is not a belief, it is fact, it is happening every day, all around us, hidden in plain sight. We all have a moral duty as stewards of this earth to do all we can to reverse the damage we have inflicted on the only planet we have to call home, and we only have a finite amount of time to turn this ship of destruction around.
Please, be the change you wish to see. Vote with your dollar, use your voice to speak out against injustice when you see it.

Make the connection to these innocent animals who are being tortured, mutilated and slaughtered every single day for things like meat, dairy, eggs, clothing, animal testing and entertainment, because if you were in their shoes YOU’D WANT SOMEONE TO SAVE YOU TOO.

Stop being a hypocrite and contributing to animal abuse. End their suffering now by GOING VEGAN [FOR THE ANIMALS]

And if you’re already vegan, get your butt up and start fighting for these babies.
Epic lunch with @galeaaats & @beancurdboi yesterday. So unbelievably happy Gage introduced us to Dinings however many weeks ago, the tofu terriyaki bowl is honestly one of my favourite things to eat. 👌 if anyones ever in St Leonards I'd highly recommend.
Repost @friendsnotfood_x) "When you become vegan, you open yourself up to see the depth of evil humanity is capable of. Sometimes, it can be overwhelming the amount of animals dying, the rate the planet is dying, and the people stood around unwilling to make a change to stop it. It can be beyond frustrating - when someone makes a joke about steak or something else insensitive and your mind flashes back to the face of a cow you saw at a vigil. It's fucking hard. You have to be a really strong person to be vegan. For these reasons everyone needs to remember to look after yourself, because we can't help the animals if we're not at our best. Love to all you awesome vegans who are changing the world 💚"
Seen and heard a few comments battered back and forth and I feel I should say I'd not known of or knowingly spoken to a vegan before I became one, and I'd guess not many people have had a conversation about veganism with a vegan. Most, including myself, bar outreach, (surprising I'm sure 🙈) wont speak about it due to fear of perputating a stereotypical vegan and the rest are still pretty diluted in society.
When talking about veganism (often through crippling anxiety, but im working on it 😅) I try to think back to just before I started researching animal agriculture and the sheer devestation surrounding it so I remember not everyone may know what I might think of as common knowledge. When given the information a large majority of people pledge to take the cruelty in their diets seriously. Vegans are just a bunch of people trying to shine a light on massive global corruption. We're all in this together & by working together we can bring it to an end 💚🌱
Following the recent undercover footage from Animal Liberation Queensland and Aussie Farms which tells the untold story of thousands of individuals in the dairy industry – from the dairy farm to the saleyard to the slaughterhouse. Calves separated from their mothers at birth, confined in filthy small cages, shocked by electric prods at the saleyard, and then strung up to have their throats slit at the slaughterhouse… this is standard industry practice and these are the images the dairy industry doesn’t want you to see - but they need to be seen. My legendary AV family flew to QLD and got to action. Spending 4 hours in the abattoir they stopped slaughter whilst protesting for the dismissal & criminal charges brought against a worker seen violently abusing the baby calves before slaughter. My heart bursts with pride and love for these fearless warriors, can only imagine the enourmous effort it would have taken to spend time in such a horrendous pit of hell (the slaughter house workers literally sat and sharpened their knives whilst they were waiting), surrounded by these beautiful animals kept in appalling conditions, their only way out, a violent, terrifying death.
I'll spare everyone the footage as it's predominately vegans on my page and we all know what goes on already but for those who are yet to make the change, please realise you can make such a tremendous difference to these animals, yourself & the environment simply by voting with your dollar and not purchasing animal products.

Marrickville vegan markets were pretty much completely sold out by the time we got there, devastating blow for us but massive yay for veganism 💚🌱 To numb the pain we treated ourselves to all the Golden Lotus we could eat & finished off with #gelatoblue
Throw back to our 'meatball' sub from the other night. The other half found these vegan friendly snack balls which i instantly decided would make epic 'meatballs' so we cooked them up in a little tomato sauce, onions & mushrooms. Added spinach, galic veganise, hummus & tomato and served with a side of onion rings 👌💚🌱
Well needed catch up with @galeaaats yesterday. No matter what state I've managed to work myself up into this one always has the ability to make me laugh. 😂
We've had a good run at GGs and fancied something less oily and @108paradisecafe came through with the goods. Finally caved under the recommendation of the mushroom pesto burger w/ sweet potato fries and no regrets. Highly recommend, even for those who arent massive mushroom lovers like myself. 👌
