A few months ago I entered myself into a competition in which applicants needed to create and illustrate a short story. I cast my memory back to any recent paintings I had created to rediscover any emotional connection I had made in the last year to a painting. And then it suddenly clicked, why make a sub par story from my imagination when I could visually depict the life in someone I admire from the bottom of my heart. I did not win this competition, but if I can guide people to turn their attention to this great man and apply into your own practice, the concept of 'practice what you preach' then I will consider this comic to be a success. I won't go too much into any preachy ethos but I will show a quote that Edhi's mother told him in his youth that became the pillar to his humanitarian mission. 'You are the most insignificant of all creatures, but you can become the most significant of you contribute towards God's people.' I hope that you will also start the coming year to aid others and be kind to the world around you, regardless your faith, background, gender, etc, let's forget our differences be united as one race, the human race. P.s. the link to my comic is on my website, which is in my description. #humanity#onerace#edhifoundation#personalgoals#inspiration#humanitarian#illustration#painting#watercolor#winsorandnewton#fabercastell#sakurapigma#comicart#2016#comicbookartist#artisthemotive#pakistan#edhi
To coincide with the reboot of my website, I have written a piece on my website in response to the Kubrick exhibit I recently attended at the Somerset House. It's not a review nor is it a blog post 🙄 it's just a short piece on my thoughts of the exhibit as a whole. #stanleykubrickexhibition#somersethouse
Can't even describe how much I'm going to miss the gang so much! It's been a crazy four weeks, but couldn't have got through any of it without these guys! Summer isn't the same without NCS! #ncs2016#watfordfcfamily#itallstartsatyes
'Theory is driven by the impossible desire to step outside your own thought, both to place it and to understand it, and also by a desire for change - this is a possible desire - both in the world your thought engages and in the ways of your thought, which always could be sharper, more knowledgeable and capacious, more self-reflecting.'
