people of color,
there are drops of oppression
and we are all drowning in the same water.
i want to take a second and embrace y'all since this society does everything in its power to bring your culture into shame.
remember that your ancestors whisper to you, and the white man tries to silence them. remember that you are soulful and you are made out of stardust. you are taught to hate your ethnic features at the same time you are objectified and appropriated for those features. living in a white world, it is common to come upon our own brothers and sisters who have been white-washed and have been taught to subconsciously oppress each other. it is our duty, as people of oppression, to guide them into realizing what is occurring to them. we start of by loving and believing in ourselves. love the color of your skin, love the language of your hair, love the seed of your roots.
with this being said, i want to remind my people that the force that guides the universe, also guides you. 💚✊🏼
